Seriously. It seems my picks have been cursed this time around. Two awAARdees failed to pass it on. Yet third time's the charm right? And it's been three days. I'd like to pass the Fan of the Week awAARd to a steadfast fan of my AARs, whom also have their own ones going which I wholeheartedly recommend people read. :) This winner has been registered less than one year but have already made their mark on the forums. The winner has also not won this awAARd so far as far as I can see, but really deserved the nod, being an active commentAARtor on the Stellaris scene. I give you @Macavity116 ! Congratulations mate, and make sure to send the awAARd on next Sunday, or else I will look positively silly. :p :D

Thank you for the nod, @Nikolai ! And thanks to @Tom D. @stnylan @loup99 and @Specialist290 as well! I'm even more happy that I found this community now!

Like I always do, I also want to extend my thanks and appreciation to everyone who either has read or is currently reading my two stories: After Everything and its sequel-pretending-to-be-a-prequel Faith in Chaos.

Thank you all again! It's a privilege to share stories around the fire with you all.

*Of course this happens the one weekend I'm sick. :p I must have checked my notifications about five times before I spotted my name in Nikolai's post.

Congratulations!

Well this was fun, but it's time to start the next cycle.

I've also decided to follow a possible new tradition that seems to have been started by @Nikolai back in December of 2018. I've chosen someone who has never received this awAARd before. Friends, readers, and CommentAARtors, I give you the new Fan of the Week: @Smokez83!

Smokez83 is currently writing a Stellaris AAR that I consider to be superior to my own. The Tchikenthi Hive is told from a unique point-of-view and makes good use of mods and in-game events to tell an intriguing story. Also, this week's winner is an active commentAARtor with a footprint in both the Stellaris and Imperator: Rome forums.

Enjoy your week in the spotlight, Smokez83! You've earned it.

@Macavity116 Wow!! Thank you very much!! I am glad that you are enjoying my AAR. I have drawn much inspiration for it from a variety of sci-fi books and films, most notably being the Formics from Orson Scott Card/Ender fame. It is very encouraging to know that people are reading The Tchikenthi Hive, and I would like to thank all those that have, or do! I will ensure that I set a reminder to hand this award on next week and continue this tradition.

Thank you, everyone! :)

Congratulations!

And so it come to the end of my week and my time to pass on this awaard. My choice for this week has written a thrilling and exceptional AAR, full of action, intrique and politics as well as the development of a rich and full back story. Overall, their AAR far exceeds my own and has inspired me with ideas for my next one. I highly recommend you read The Many Children of Earth.

Additionally, this person has offered inspiration to others as well as providing feedback and support on many AARs, my own included. To that end, this week's Fan of the Week Awaard goes to @Kylia Quilor and mat I be the first to offer congratulations to them!

Thank you. ^^

Hopefully this time I'll remember to pass the award on next week

*adds it to her daily planner*
