So I have been wondering and I cant seem to find the answer anyplace.. Will Stellaris have a ending date like EU4 and CK2 ?. Or will it go on as long as you want it too and only end once you achieve your goals ?. I am hoping that it will be a endless game that really has no end date so that you can take your time and explore the galaxy as you see fit. Because I know for my first game.. I am going to be playing a race of people that are wary of others and want to explore as slow as possible ( They be like Ancient Egypt but in space, Never really wanting to leave their home sector )

So yeah.. Does Stellaris have a end date like Eu4 and ck2 have ?. Or is it a endless game and only ends when you want it too or you get destroyed ?

Thanks in Advance :)

It has victory conditions, but it has no end date. It remains to be seen if the victory conditions have a "one more turn..." button.

Reactions:
All Paradox games are endless. The problem is that the files to extend the endless history are not there, so you wind up wandering into the Void that Binds and never return.

As far as I can tell, the game is endless. I achieved the victory condition tied to colonies and am still playing on. Now, not sure if the game continues after I bump off the last Empire in the galaxy (and that achievement will be a while yet), but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't.
