If the names mean anything (and they usually don't) then Tatanka is the Vicky 2 expansion. Tatanka as in buffalo as in the west when there were buffalo as in the 1800's as in Vicky. Yay movie references!

I think Mayflower -> Slavery -> American Civil War -> Vicky2 expansion is most probable

 

Wow...too many Projects...almost feels like an invasion by the forces of Paradox and we are sure to surrender As for speculations, Project Doom sounds apocalyptic enough...maybe a nuclear stand-off situation? Another point worth noticing, is the fact that only one of seven games already known for 2011, comes from the parent studio, PI. Even if we add MM (which i assume has been left out of the list and is not, in fact, one of the projects), the level of plurality in the releases is staggering... Piece of advice though: make sure all of these new releases get their own forum icon. I don't really have any hard evidence, but i bet it provides a boost in sales...

 

That was not intentional, it was on the top of the list when I entered all the projects, not sure how it dissapeared. Corrected now!

Well then this is a pretty good reason to keep boxed editions of games on the shelves, tell Fredrik!

 

So many new projects Now, I am pretty confident that one of them is Rome expansion .

 

"Project Doom" makes me think of something revolutionary! Perhaps something completely new, compared to current catalogue of games

New engine? New game with open-end evolution of strategic gameplay?

Probably I'm just dreaming, but it sounds so amazing!

 

I just realized I have no idea what project Doom and Ice Man are. How the hell did I miss the code name brainstorming session?

Ok, Hearts of Iron 3, Vicky 2 and Rome are potential Expansion contenders. I believe it was stated that they are working on something indoors that doesn't belong to the usual genre so theres something there potentially as well.
Considering other franchises we have that could be a codename= Lead and Gold, Mount and Blade, Legio. We have Paradox France, Nitro Games and I believe Neocore recently signed on.

Therefore a lot of potential sequals/expansions and new IP's to be had from all round within those code names.

 

Ice Man or Doom could be a Cold-era, nuclear stand-off expansion for HoI3... Maybe a HoI3 version of Doomsday...
