Can't build Engineering Facility I after research

Hey guys!

I'm still in the early game and so far I'm enjoying it in a way I haven't enjoyed a space 4X in a long time!

I just finished the Nanomechanics research which says unlocks the Engineering Facility I building:

But when I go to Earth to try to build it, it's not there!

Any ideas why could this be?

I think you have too upgrade the basic science lab into it.

Yeah, that confused me as well. It's one of the bits of Stellaris where the UX team haven't quite made things clear enough, still.....I remember Vicky and CK1. Lordy have they learned since then.
