Most of these are hugely wrong, espeically when compared to offical census. And even when adjusted for territory lost / gained.

So you do know you are replying to a thread that is about 11 year since last post fenrir...

Well I got numbers from a 1936 yearbook and they are about the same as these posted here in most cases ( those i have in my head ). But Germany and Russia seems a bit high? And what about Labrador with 4 millions?! And Australia and Japan seems low?

If you have more correct values or a link to a good source i would like it very much!
I agree that these values are totally wrong as territory is gained or lost. If you have any values of smaller provinces i would also like that a lot.
