Field Marshal Earned Traits not working?

Description
I'm confused about the effect Field Marshals have on battles. I have two Armies with Generals under a Field Marshal. My Field Marshal has three Earned Traits unlocked, Infantry Leader, Trickster, and Commando. However, when I look at the combat screen none of those are showing up. So apparently there is a bug here or Earned Traits that Field Marshals have don't actually affect combat?

Maybe it is working but the combat screen for some reason isn't displaying all of the little ribbons that it's supposed to?

As usual the game does a poor job at explaining itself.

Another problem. Apparently General Traits work at 50% effectiveness when you are using your character as a Field Marshal. The game doesn't explain this anywhere as far as I can tell.

Reproduction steps:
- start as ETH
- promote the only general to FM
- hire a second general and assign them to their respective roles
- attack Italian units on a desert province
- the combat bonuses include half of the FM's skills, but not half the bonus from Desert Fox

On the combat screen the Field Marshal's ribbons are completely missing. Only the General's are there.

This is WAD. According to the WIKI, a Field Marshall's "General Traits" can be passed down to its generals' divisions, at 50% worth. However the Field Marshall's "Field Marshall" traits will not be used if the FM is commanding divisions (in an army) directly, instead of commanding generals (and commanding an Army Group). Regarding the 1st issue described in the thread, I can say some months ago I tested it and it worked fine. The ribbons won't show up on the general however. The extra attack and defense from Infantry Leader for example, are added into the "Country" bonus you see in the combat screen. I added them up manually and I definitely got the 50% pass down from the FM to the General to the Divisions combat screen.
