    Some random excerpts from the latest betapatch.

    - Production view serial/parallel now can now be incremented/decremented by holding down left mouse button.
    - Added an alert when mobilized and not in war.
    - Added an alert for when you have a decision possible.

    - Invasion AI now allowed to attack non-port provinces
    - Unit AI: Will prioritize attacking neighboring port provinces if the controlled area lacks a port

    - A country automatically mobilizes when going into war.
    - Countries get a reinforcement bonus first month after mobilizing.

    Currently it looks like we're having a release of 1.3 in the first week of November.

    Good update. Worth adding that it also was mentioned in another thread that in 1.3 you can see who's spying on you and what exactly their goals are.

    But:

    I don't like this change. I'd rather see provinces which are suitable for landing operations marked on the map by a different type of border with sea provinces (beaches basically) and them being the only ones that can be attacked. Being able to land basically everywhere doesn't feel historically correct.

    Will there be any penalty for landing, something like an organization loss?

    Great improvement -- defending conquered territory will be a bit more challenging (and realistic as this was the Overlord plan) and draw forces away from other campaigns (which means more strategic decisions need to be made).

    I hope this doesn't mean that as USA I need to garrison all coastal provinces because of the AI's unlimited transport range. Currently I need to garrison all ports to avoid an amphibious invasion on one of them, from Boston to Seattle. When I didn't garrison Seattle which is nearly 10,000km from any German occupied soil, 2 German divisions landed there in 1939. :wacko:

    This has happened in more than one game as well. Although I don't mind garrisoning my home territory, I don't like to do it because the AI is cheating. ;)

    Everything else looks good. And as usual, thanks for the regular updates. :)

    Good, but honestly I don't care about these two alerts.

    Very good improvements, will make the invasion aspect of the game quite a bit tougher, also what do you actually mean with the reinforcement bonus? Does this mean that it is cheaper to reinforce or you get some extra "free" manpower.

    I have understood it so that unlimited invasion range is indeed a bug. So if that is fixed, you shouldn't need to garrison every nook and cranny.
