Nice update, but maybe you should edit the picture of the sunk ships list...there are a few symbols there...
Can't wait to see your battle plan for when Barbarossa begins; will you drop Marines all over Germany?
OT The Bismarck was a handsome ship wasn't it?

Still 700 screenshots to go until 1942.
I recently ordered a book about the Soviet Naval planning from 1935-1953, in it it details how Stalin was actually a Mahan affectionado. Also (this might affect your plans) he was not a fan of carriers, feeling that large and powerfull battleships emphasised a powerful navy, and country.
Even as it was becoming clear the carriers were taking over for battleships, he countinued to hold on to this belief, and had several arguments with Kuznetsov, which eventually resulted in his dismissal.
Actually i think the Bismarck was a quite beautyfull ship. Although it was indeed a waste of ressources, the design was quite good when you consider that Germany wasn't exactly a nation with a long history of ocean going ships. It was fast, and had some of the best optical aiming systems in the world... Too bad they were useless at night compared to the radar outfitted British ships.
Lets hope the Red Navy haven't made the same mistake and underestimated radar technology.
What I heard on the other hand, the thing that doomed B was that a torpedo got lucky hitting it's rudder, desabling Bismark's steering capability. Of all torpedos none penetrated troug all armour.IMHO the biggest problem of Bismarck where the crappy AA systems, as proven by the Farey Swordfish. For example the main AA director was so top heavy it tended to de-stabilize the entire ship when it turned to meet an Air threat, it was also extremely vulnerable to under-water hits by torpedoes. I've also read somewhere that the Swordfishes were too slow for the AA to sight them properly. Death-Star trench-run anyone?
