I am playing a chill megacorp game with my friend, i put up the catalytic recycles civic, which use food to produce alloy, and abandoned the miner job.
In the mid game, i set up my friend as a bulwark vassle, and this happen,

It start to make some minerals contribution, while I have only little minerals income, and that almost kill me as a megacorp

So i think we need some Qol on the vassal contribution thing, maybe seprate the energy, mineral, food to different category.

If you agree to pay your buddy's bills, you have to pay his bills.

I would like to be able to tax energy/food/minerals separately, but splitting them up wouldn't fix this issue. You're required to subsidize a bulwark by a certain percentage, and even if they were split, you'd still be paying the minimum mineral subsidy.

Bulwarks are expensive.

I get the point i need pay for his bill, but just maybe, i can pay it by energy if i am a merchant duo.
Just like 10% mineral 50% energy 10% food, replacing the 30% basic resources
