I'm trying to create Hanthawaddy Kingdom so I got inspiration from their actual CoA.

My favourite thing about the CoA editor is that I can give my various cadet branches more variety and flavour.

The Batanid dynasty started as pecheneg rulers.
Screenshot (400).png

When they merged with the persian culture to create the shirvanite culture they updated their CoA to fit the more figurative persian style.

Screenshot (401).png

The various cadet branches which developed in Anatolia all incorporate design elements of the respective regions they originally gouverned:

Agreed! I've done the same in my recent game.

When Khazaria isn't Khazar anymore:

1645493191583.png

Before the Khazars were the Onoghurs, of which the Khazars were a part. "Onoghur" means "ten tribes" (On-Oghur), and the Oghur language of the Khazars and other western Turkic nomads comes from that.

"Onoghur" is also one of the proposed sources for the name "Hungary."

It's also similar to the phrase for ten arrows, which is why I made the CoA be ten arrows.

I love how perfectly it looks on the shield!

In a multiplayer game with my friends, I founded a greco-cuman kingdom around crimea:

P.s. the purple splash was an accident, I forgot to change the background color from a previous design.

Cleaned up Onoghuria slightly for symmetry, so here's the code:

Code:
coa_title_3829={
    custom=yes
    pattern="pattern__solid_designer.dds"
    color1=rgb { 77 10 1 }
    color2=white
    color3=blue
    colored_emblem={
        color1=yellow
        color2=white
        color3=green_light
        texture="ce_arrows_saltire.dds"
        instance={
            position={ 0.500000 0.500000 }
            scale={ 0.720000 0.720000 }
        }

        instance={
            scale={ 0.720000 0.720000 }
            depth=1.010000
            rotation=16
        }

        instance={
            scale={ 0.720000 0.720000 }
            depth=2.010000
            rotation=344
        }

        instance={
            scale={ 0.720000 0.720000 }
            depth=3.010000
            rotation=32
        }

        instance={
            scale={ 0.720000 0.720000 }
            depth=4.010000
            rotation=328
        }

    }

}

The slightly more symmertrical look:

Blurry Shielf

The little soldier in the COA editor with the shield . . . in my game his shield is always blurry. I never see the COA.

Anyone encountered this issue? Any known fixes?View attachment 835031
The whole soldier is blurry, not only the shied. Looks like low resoulution settings. How does the soldier look like in game, e.g. when summoning the army?

I started in the County of Soria, which, in CK3, uses a squirrel CoA. So, I ran with it, and when I became King of Castille, I became King of Ardilla (Squirrel) instead:

I eventually conquered my neighboring nemesis, León, and renamed the kingdom Cerdo (Pig).
