Paradox Launcher v2 not downloading

Hi, I wanted to talk about this problem. Whenever I try to open Europa Universalis IV it automatically brings me to the page of the launcher's download, but everytime i start the process, it says that it ended prematurely and it won't let me play the game. How do I solve this?

Please try this:

- exit the Steam app completely

- run steam.exe as the Windows Admin user

- run the game from the PLAY button in Steam

Is that any better?

If not, run eu4.exe directly, which skips the launcher - does the game then start okay?
