So my character died, and he had a lot of piety and a lot of good traits (I ran the numbers and he had a 200% chance of becoming a saint), but he never did. He did get beatified though, but I never got the beatification notification for the rest of my family. Any idea why this is the case?

The 200% explanation:

Character was humble, diligent, patient, and chaste, had 4500 piety, was a former player (so got a 2x modifier for that), sponsored a baptism (1.5x) and there isn't a Saint in the religion already (3x modifier).

Okay I figured it out. My kids had a "got beatification notification" flag, and it wasn't clearing. After manually clearing the flag in the save files, they now get the notification.

1. When declaring Independence war it seems to declare it invalid whenever anything changes regarding any of the lieges titles.
2. After being conquered by a religious reconquest it gives me the option to swar fealty to new liege but jnothing actually happens.

When reforming a religion, the religious head seems to always be called a High Priest. I've tried this with both Slavic and African, and it doesn't matter if it's temporal or theocratic. Have even tried adding a new localisation file, with no effect.

Multiple titles are incorrectly displaying themselves in localization as Khanates, including Poland and Serbia at least from the 936 start onwards and in England by the 1194 and Third crusade start dates.

I apologize for posting here, since I do have other personal mods enabled, but I haven't been able to tell what may be causing the CTD. Happens on December 7th, 1090 every time. If anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hello,

Whenever I start a campaign at a bookmark that has an ongoing historically defined war (such as in the 1066 start date), the demesnes of the primary participants of that war don't have tech-appropriate buildings in their personally-held barony holdings. The attached save file was generated from starting as William of Normandy from the Choose Your Era screen; I didn't flip through the bookmarks before selecting the character. Oddly enough, William's territories seem to be fine. However, the kings of England and Norway have undeveloped holdings. Also note the Byzantine emperor and the Emir of Marrakesh; their capitals are okay, but their other holdings have the same issue.

Don't know why this is happening for the first time in well over 1000 hours playing ck2. Was invited to a crowning by i think the king of france (wasn't paying attention) and i'm just stuck "on a pilgrimage". At first i checked around and everyone is crowned so the ceremony is done. Then thought if france goes to war i'll automatically get sent back but no luck there either. Is there a console command or something i can use to end the regency and bring back my king?

Juicy piety pot if ever I've seen one. Might be related to a bugged event of Venice switching the target to Constantinople that somehow didn't work properly.

1592420616297.png

I replayed it a few times now, and the same thing always happens. This seems to be the bugged event:

The event fires, but Crusade target defaults back to Egypt (even if I switched it to a different kingdom earlier).

Hello you, and thank you for this superb mod

I just came to report a small bug: when I ask a person to convert to my religion, he accepts but nothing happens, he remains a heretic. Same when a pagan chief asks me for help to convert his country, I accept, the event starts well but no conversion takes place.

I play with the latest version of the game and the mod

Thank you for your time

I cannot get crowned after claiming Byzantine Empire thru decision and usurping it. Don't know if it's fixed in newer versions or couldn't find the appropriate event/add_trait to fix it. So any help about it would be awesome too.

In my current game I'm getting a CTD on a specific date, 11-03-1144 . Even when reverting back to an old autosave (2 years before the crash date) it still crashes on that exact same date. The logs don't really show anything useful as to what the cause might be. I have uploaded the savegame. Hopefully there is an easy fix so I can continue my game.

Ok I've got a good one.
I cannot save a game where there is like an accent or special character in the name. The autosave works fine. For example the finno realms/tribes up north. ex 1066 Bjarmilaized, Luddilaized, Tomilaized, etc. They all display correctly, so its not as if there is a display error. Any ideas? Perhaps I'm missing a language file somewhere? Thanks.

It's a hardcoded limitation of CK2 itself. Nothing we can really do about it, I'm afraid.

Long standing problem with the unit sprites showing as default when raising vassal levies now affects Egyptian Arabic characters. Originally issue has only affected Norman, Frankish and some North African Berber group cultures.

EDIT: Pasting the attached into Historical_Immersion_Project\common\landed_titles seems to fix the issue for the Arabic group characters at least. The unit sprites are back to normal. Encountered this a while ago and had a look on the wiki.

I've noticed this too. Looking around there is this entry on the wiki troubleshooting page;

All units models use wrong gfx
  • Check that no province history files reference a barony that is not defined in landed_titles (with The Validator
The validator references a few baronies not belonging to c_lori. Would post a screenshot but I can't upload images for some reason.

No idea if that's what the troubleshoot is referring to.

EDIT; Just to add it I haven't noticed the issue for any early (pre-950) period units. It also seems to greatly affect the light cavalry and pike-men units for the Arabic culture group.

A weird bug with an even weirder fix. I'll try to sort things out for the next SWMH release, thanks.

Alright, so strange thing, but none of the titles in your landed_titles file actually have any entries in the mod's history files. You sure that that bug is what was causing the sprite issue?

Pretty certain as the issue vanishes when the file is placed in the landed_title area and returns when I'm running HIP + SWMH without it.

The b_mastropiero appears in title history files but not in the common\landed_titles which is what apparently causes unit sprites to default for some or all cultures according to the Wiki. It also appears to be date sensitive as starts prior to 1192.1.1 are fine. After that the sprites glitch to default as that is when the title in the history files has no holder and is inactive. Being active with a holder even with no defining in the landed_titles seems to not cause a sprite problem.

The file is from a few years ago last time I noticed this so I think maybe only the above mentioned barony is in HIP. Haven't checked the rest. The Validator has identified 3 others as lacking definition in landed_titles.
