To keep track of all bugs and issues you are reporting, we created this list to bring back to the team. If you have experienced a bug not already in this list, please let us know in this thread.

Remember to include if you are using mods (and if you do, try to disable them - as sometimes they cause issues) and how to reproduce the bug you are experiencing. Being able to recreate a bug is the first step in understanding what is wrong and how it could be fixed! :)

  • Tyre apparatus can no longer be rotated.
  • Player (Warden) can not use ferries in Warden Mode.
  • Staff and inmates no longer do the eating animation.
  • Fire engine spawns if dismissing fire brigade after dismissing helicopter.
  • The Chinese edition still has half of English words.
  • The Rock will not catch fire or take damage no matter what material or object it is.
  • Stepping stones/pallets interferes with the pathing when trying to create a ferry line after removed.
  • Released prisoners remain at the prison on Island plot (no road access)

  • Checkpoints are cancelling tasks when prisoners are walking close.
  • The National Guard won't dock if helipad is missing.
  • When an informant is on route to the security room and finally arrives, they reset and teleports back to their cell.
  • Visitor booths starting glitching and moving when the parol hearing is over, and the visitors and prisoner switch sides.
  • Some items like the laundry machine or the execution chair cannot be rotated.
  • Guards will not bring food to holding cells or solitary.
  • Change food variety and quantity too low does not work and getting fined multiple times.
  • Larger yards not showing as secure.
  • An issue with Fog of War not disappearing when patrolling.
  • Prisoners Clothing needs are too high after the lastest update/hotfix.
  • Footbridges cannot be built next to each other, there needs to be a gap of 1 square vertically between each of them.
  • Deliveries are inefficient, multiple trucks arrive with each truck delivering only a single tree for forestry.

Made a video about staff not being able to be ordered.


This rusults in:
- dogs cannot be ordered to move at all (For example to help in fights) (dog handlers can --> hard selection)
- orderlies cannot be told to move where a CI inmate is fighing
(-- orderlies are not included in guard response either)
- nearby snipers that happen to be nearby cannot be told to move to assist the guards in fight
s

- workman cannot be told to move (to prioritise certain builds)
- janitors and gardeners cannot be told to to move (prioritise certain floors to clean)
- cooks cannot be ordered to move either


- and most simple of all, you should be able order them away just so they dont approach possible fights

Informants are broken. When one informant is "En Route" and finally arrives in the security room, they reset and teleport back to their cell. I tried a few different times, tried restarting the game, and he's still teleporting. I tried a different informant. This new informant would never actually leave their cell, but the guard would repeatedly show up and try to escort them to security. You can see the guard escorting an invisible inmate to the security room while the informant remains asleep in their bed the entire time. The guard will reset when they arrive at security, and another one will show up at the informant's cell to try again, but the same issue repeats.

No mods.

Suggestion: prisoners escaping by water should have to construct rafts. Add patrol boats to intercept prisoners at sea. These could be dispatched from the emergency services button like firefighters or riot police.
 
This is game breaking, you can no longer reassign inmates to different cells (manual cell assigment is not functioning)

To reproduce:
1) Click inmate.
2) Right click cell.
3) Nothing happens

Before The Rock this would allow you to send inmates to different cells
 
You can sell plans. And sell it give a very much money (no mods).

Large yards work strangely. They cannot find the door, although if you make a small 5х5 yard inside a large one - it works o_O
EDIT: At the same time, the yard is working, prisoners come to it.

The June 26 update just loaded and now cooks are no longer cleaning up used food trays in the canteen. I have a couple rooms (in fully enclosed, secured sections) that janitors will not clean.
 
In multiplayer, there is a bug related to the marking buildings. I'm not sure that it appeared after the release of the DLC, I have not played for a long time. If the user connected to the session places their building while host is still marking the building, host's selection will be knocked to the end point.
 
I encountered a few issues with the new free update. i have NO DLCs installed.
1. Prisoners are not unloaded at the height of the reception instead they are ALWAYS unloaded at the height of the delivery area.
(See forum thread: forum DOT paradoxplaza DOT com/forum/threads/no-unloading-at-reception-all-prisoners-unloaded-at-delivery-no-dlc.1402494/ )
2. Possibly related to (1.), I cannot access the settings for deliveries in the logistics menu (to set my reception to receive from the road).
3. I can build a scanner machine and scanner monitor under logistics, however they are not usable as far as I can tell. (shouldn't they only be part of the DLC?)
4. My "Deployment" and "Quick Build" menu items in the bottom menu bar keep displaying a star symbol in the upper left, eventough all ('new') entries in those respective lists have been observed. Other menu items did display those stars initially but they went away, after observing all items. (See attached image)

i have been having issues with not being able to move doctors to where i need them and other staff that used to move since the update and moving prisoners
another bug i don't have the old school mutuon on and i'm still getting a crap ton of prisoners

My cooks stopped cooking food, even though there are ingredients in fridges. The kitchen and canteen is on the left side of the road. This began happening after building on the left side of the main road. In the jobs screen, the cook food job appears to be "queued."
