Logically, if any stats of units rise with each new model, the units are getting better right? If that is so, why do AA-Brigades and escort fighters give minus air defense? In my opinion the higher the air defense is, the more difficult it is to shoot down a plane, but why do aa and escort fighters give minus air defense ? Doesn't that make ground and air units with these attachements worse for aerial combat or did i misunderstand something here ?

Well i dont know what that application is (usually i just alter the .txt files if i wanna change units), but it seems like its obsolete, because if im not mistaken that should be air VULNERABILITY, as in, the higher the vulnerability, the higher the damage it takes. DH changed air defense to that so that it would be easier to understand for the very same reason you are stating right now, it was confusing. Thus, if you add a brigade of escort fighters to a bomber unit, that unit will now have -2 vulnerability and thus be harder to damage.

Well...defensiveness is the term from older HoI games...DH's uses the term Vulnerability which replaced defensiveness...In this case minus is bonus ! Negative is better while positive is worse!

Eugenioso above...also noted this !

I thank you very much for clarifying the case.
