Game crashes after char creation

Unable to start a new game as it crashes during the loading screen after creating a character and choosing the initial conquest options.

I have tried updating my graphics drivers and reinstalling the game.

Have you had any luck?

I am getting the exact same problem as you and my crash logs display the same error message too. Great to see that you haven't received a response in two weeks. *rolls eyes*

I've tried steps that have been mentioned in other threads, like disabling the internet connection, using administrator mode, disabling overclocking (which I don't even have) and nothing allows me to get past the loading screen after the "Conquest" decision process.

Sorry I missed this post. The problem is probably this:

C:\Program Files (x86)\RivaTuner Statistics Server\RTSSHooks64.dll

Please try unloading that.

Hi Andrew,

Closing the RSS program allowed me to play the game with no further issues.
