Now the Western hugbox is going to take land from Morocco this session as they finish the war so numbers will change

POPE: I still don't know what happens in southern Italy and Rome itself, though. Not sure if Austria and Pope have some kind of ride or die arrangement. But where else is Pope supposed to expand if not into Savoy or Naples? North Africa? The New World? Is he content to aim for a runner-up trophy as StarNan's king-making ally?

to be fair, if I was a relatively inexperienced player who'd be put in a country right next to Starnan, that is exactly what I would do.

60% of the stream is Jake and Chris laughing their ass off for something nobody understands while ignoring whats going on in the game...

Chris: Imagine a heavy ship at the Adriatic Sea...

Jake: OMG!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAH

Chris: HAHAHAHAHAH!!!

Just imaging those two made me too go HAHAHAHAHA!!

I do not regret my actions. By their account, Byzantine expansion was successfully halted for 15 years, which is more successful than the combined actions of the entirety of the Clash's players.

I hope others are willing to follow my example and not sit by patiently, waiting for their turn to be digested. Rise up against the Oppressor! Rise up against False Rome!

The broken husk of a nation that is Prussia endorses this statement.

So.... the heirs to Timur are a bit homesick.... Siberia/Mongolia sounds nice

How does the saying go?

First the Romans came for the mongols and I did not fight—
Because I was not a mongol

Then they came for the Mamluks, and I did not fight—
Because I was not an Egyptian.

Then they came for the Commonwealth, and I did not fight—
Because I was not a Hussar.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to fight for me.

So... non-Greek Byzantium, still a fraud.

Also, for everyone else: when the lesson is "Rule number one of @KaiserJohan is do not let KaiserJohan play singleplayer", the appropriate response is not "roll over easier than the AI would have and give him everything he wants for free". A little spine would help keep this interesting.

I'm pissed, you didn't show what France took off Savoy in the war

Byzantium is now going north? and south too? who can stop them?

500 dev by Byzantium... though I notice they are not in the top 20 for tech so falling behind there. Nor do they have much of an income lead over any of the other big European countries.

Also the death of Poland and Kazan going down. Lithuania is still fighting but the partition is happening.

If he's still Greek by the end, sure, but it's not really surprising he's not focusing on culturally enriching back to Greek yet. Too many other things to worry about. Well, there would be if the other players were countering him properly.
