We've had this patch on beta for some time now, but feel confident enough to release it to the general public.
The patch is aimed at fixing stuff that broke for mods with Horse Lords.

- Sieges get defending characters again

MODDING
- Fixed tooltip for scripted_effects not working
- Mercenaries and event-spawned units will no longer reinforce unless specifically set to
- Removed unnecessary error logging from global event targets
- Setting number of wards to a higher number in defines now works properly
- Scopes are now correctly set for ai_will_do in cb_types
- Effect create_character now gives proper random name if used outside of character scope
- Fixed unknown triggers not being reported to the error log
- Title localization for custom government type now works
- Fixed initializing errors in scripted triggers/effects
- Fixed missing space in localization of special titles
- Morale effect now works in unit & character scope
- Troops effect now works in unit & character scope
- Now possible to switch to owner scope from unit scope
- Now possible to switch to leader scope from unit scope
- Now possible to switch to location scope from unit Scope
- Added missing localization for leader event target
- Siege scope now works for flank commanders
- morale effect now works with flank commanders
- reinforce effect now works with flank commanders
- in battle, in siege and looting triggers now work with flank commanders

strg+f -> 'raid' -> no results -> grumpy face
 
Seduction behavior is one of the easiest things to mod. Instead of complaining about it for months and months (when it is clearly not at the top of the devs list) is pointless. Take 5-10 minutes out of your day and remove the source of frustration forever.

Is there a widely used mod that fixes the broken adultery mechanic? And if it is super broken why no official fix?

Oh man wasn't there a bug where if you usurped the duchy title of an independent character but he has a county outside the duchy then you would vassalise him instead? I had hoped it would be fixed in this patch. Oh well.

the fix is even quicker - don't use the Way of Life dlc

Modless game is unplayable. You either use workarounds like marrying homosexuals or suffer weekly "your wife was caught fucking some random dude"
Christians must be crazy horny or something, because my 769 ironman Sviþjod->Fylkirate game has been going for three centuries without spamming me with that sort of thing.

Does the patch make ongoing 2.4.4 ironman games ineligible for Steam achievements?

just edit the numbers that shown in way_of_life_decisions.txt to your own preference.

if that's not enough, then edit the 00_focus.txt

problem solved...
