We are happy to announce that Cities: Skylines is coming to Xbox One!

More information will be shared about this exciting and awesome project in the near future but for now feel free to discuss it here!

A small note that you should all know: This announcement doesn't mean that we will stop working hard on the PC version, not at all, it just means that we are taking Cities: Skylines to a new level!

Good for Xbox One players. I really don't understand this almost pathological hatred of consoles that some members of the PC community have. I mean, we're all still gamers, right?

Great stuff Team Colossal Order/PI :). I know it might just be a DX12 thing, so PS4 might be out of the question, but if you did get it to PS4 I'd happily buy it twice (have already given it a good run on PC, and it's run is far from over). Also, does this mean we'll get gamepad support on PC (and is there a chance of mouse/kb support on console?)

Edit: Very tired - initially credited PDS in first sentence, D'oh!

Nice but I am not a console player.

You'll keep adding features to the PC version, right?

I play only PC games, and this game is still missing many features in my opinion. Need more expansions to add night time, allow larger maps, add graphs and transport views, more types of roads/rails/transport options etc. For this the devs need to keep working on the game.

Hopefully this will be done by a different team, so that focus on the PC version isn't lost in favour of consoles.

Sweet! I used to be a console gamer. Than I built a pc last summer and have been basically a pc gamer since than. But I'm all for paradox gaining more popularity. Esspecially of it draws new gamers to pc only titles like Hearts of Iron! !!

I look forward to see how CO will handle the interface issues... I mean, building roads with a mouse is simple; but with two joysticks? If they can get the control scheme down, this will be a hit, imo.

I think Mod Support will be pretty easy for Xbox; since it uses the same sort of Architecture as Windows
