((alxeu -- We have so many factories that it's a pretty tall order to post them all. Most factories are barely dipping into the red, if they are at all, although of course that's subject to change. The complexity of the economic model ensures that, even if I did post a screenshot, it wouldn't necessarily be that helpful. It's a shame there's no good economic tool for Vicky 2, but we must do the best we can.

I can give you a trade screenshot, which might be helpful for planning purposes:

Our military technology is in a truly disgraceful state. If we do not hurry, the Poles will soon overrun us. I am also disgusted by the lack of democratic nationalism our government displays.

(( And it's a little bit different again in NNM. I had a breakdown a few pages back, but as our minister of war pointed out, we need better naval bases (and the raider group doctrine to build them) to have the range and colonial points to actually go and colonize. ))
 
Stockpile the goods we need ((IE military goods and goods for factories)), and subsidize the factories that are in the red. Keep the factories churning out profits, basically.

The Ministry of Education proposes the following plan.

Analytic Philosophy.

I have consulted with my deputy ministers, and we have decided to adopt Herr Meier's proposal after Analytic Philosophy becomes widespread in our nation.

Steam Turbines would allow our mines and farms to create even more raw materials for our factories, decreasing our dependence on other nations.
I hear that some firms have begun using assembly lines. These firms should have their methods studied and applied in general, as this looks to massively increase our industry's efficiency.
Advanced metallurgy is within our grasp. The benefits to development of these techniques would be without measure.
With our increase in steel production, we can make steel railroads, but we need to solve some engineering issues first.
I hear some chemists have begun research into organic chemistry. If what half of their promises are true, this could open up entirely new areas of production.
Business banks would have many beneficial effects on business, making it easier for private investors to start new businesses, and would additionally allow us to raise more taxes.
Specifying particular banks that can print bills would improve the flow of money, improving our ability to tax, and allowing us to better pay our bureaucrats, giving us more efficient administration.
Improved business regulations would greatly improve the ability of our business men to innovate, and also for us to tax them appropriately.

(( While Herr Meier is getting everything he might want from that education plan, I suspect others might not like it quite as much. For reference, some analysis I did a bit back: ))

  • As will Market Regulations.
  • And Naval Statistics.
  • And in general, the better our Naval Doctrine tech, the better shipyards we can build, and the further we can colonize.

The Ministry of War has no new plans. If the naval base expansion program hasn't been completed, complete it.

The Ministry would direct further naval base expansion to level 3, which would allow the construction of iron-clads and monitors, but WE DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THAT YET.

...and if we accept the Ministry of Education's proposal without change, WE NEVER WILL KNOW HOW.

For this reason, I object to the Education plan.

((Education is Conclave, so while you can object until you're blue in the face, it will unfortunately mean nothing. ;)))
 
All open plans have passed -- we just need the Liberator to give us his foreign policy.
 
A MEMORANDUM FROM THE OFFICE OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

To: The Chancellor, Cabinet, Assembly, and Conclave

The object of this government should be to spread German liberty abroad and maintain it at home. For this term, I have pledged my commitment to peace as our armed forces rebuild. Thus, I propose the following:

-The German Republic shall maintain its influence across the globe and attempt to foster democratic values in the countries aligned to us and under commercial treaties ((maintain all spheres as best as we can, Avindian has latitude to increase/decrease influence as he sees fit)).
-The German Republic shall also attempt to influence the despotic governments of Denmark and Sweden by sending ambassadors who shall attempt to abolish the monarchies of each country ((try to sphere Denmark and Sweden if we haven't already))
-Finally, we should attempt to ally Canada and Norway as a bulwark against British tyranny ((improve relations and ally with Canada and Norway))

Fellows of the Conclave with the passage of the last matter for this session I no longer see reason not to nlanounce thay I formally renounce any and all memberships, associations, positions, or titles that I hold with the UAI. This is because in pursuing my goal of making an better and more liberal Germany I have stepped on the toes on one to many people and in attempting to craft the first liberal coalition in decades have fractured my party. In what was supposed to be the moment of triumph for the liberal cause a wolf from within the party revealed himself and waged a campaign of deception and slander within and without the UAI. I am sad to report that despite my many years of service to the liberal cause the wolf was successful in his attempts to slander myself and my work. As a result of this I have lost the confidence of my party and have been removed from my position as a authorized negotiator of the UAI. Further, I have been blacklisted in regards to cabinet positions and will no longer be able to exert enough influence to see the liberal agenda through with the UAI. As we all now know the wolf is none other than Herr Andersan. This is not the sole objection I have with the direction of the UAI. I have been troubled by the socialist tendencies of the UAI and the NLPD both of which have expressed either in private or in public. As such I believe the main "liberal" parties to have a great corruption of their mission to minimize the role of government in personal life and in business. As such I petition the DDA for membership in their party. as I believe that they are the only party that has not lost sight of this noble goal and plead the people of Germany to remember this in the upcoming election. Lastly, I see that I have passed peek influence in the Bundestag and am most likely blacklisted from cabinet appointments for my role in revealing the scandal in the Andersan "Chancellery." I do hereby announce that due to these issues I will not be running for reelection in the upcoming elections. I thank the people of Germany for their support all these years of my career and I thank my allies for their support of needed reform that I have proposed or supported in my career. I think that I have accomplished much for my cause and my country. Further, from time to time it is necessary for the good function of the democracy that I fought so hard for that leaders change from time to time. Therefor, it brings me a bittersweet pleasure to proclaim, for the last time, Heer Chancellor I yield the floor.
