Yes, you can choose between Monarchy and Republic. If you and them are both monarchies you can also choose to install your own dynasty on their throne.

Wiz, how exactly does this work? Is it an event with options? I suppose I'm asking because I wanted to know how moddable it is.

So, which Idea-group will Cuzco (Proto-Inca) have?
I suspect Andean, but I guess Inca or Aymara is allso plausible.
