Now, that colonist is sure going to help with fighting Europeans! It's an awesome buff for anyone who manages to form them, giving them even more of a fighting chance.

They better not add a adm10 tech requirement to form incas, but that 1 colonist idea is very impressive, finally no compulsory exploration ideas for SAs.
You'll still want Exploration, most likely. Getting land almost for free = priceless!

Not necessarily, this time conquering the Andes will take some time, and taking some adm ideas may help expansion in mesoamerica.
But I guess you need explorers to find out about Mesoamerica , so my point is moot.

By the way, can anyone educate me? Is that historical, that South Americans didn't have major contact with Mesoamericans?

As far as I know there was some trading, but nothing major.

And the next converter nation. First Aztec now Inka. Lets compare the different. I like the idea with the trader from Sunset Invasion. Also when the traderoots run away from Inka. But the AoW colonist is a good offer. Particulary with the many new provinces. Can be easy to close the coast. But when you need no westernisation (sunset) then you can run fast to exploration and can close the cost too. Only different between western and high american techgroup is cavalry ratio. High american has 10%. But i believe with sunset inka you can you neighbors not make to vasall. What do you think is better Sunset or AoW?

Inka : Available only in saves imported with Sunset Invasion active:

High American technology group = techcost 0% start level 3

5. Imperial Gold Trading +1 Merchants
6. State Adminstration Reform +5% National tax modifier

Ambition
+10% Land forcelimits modifier

Aztec: standard game:

South America technology group = techcost +150% startlevel 1

1. Preserve our troops +2.5% Discipline
2. Tax Reform +5% National tax modifier

No diplomatic abilities? Most Inca conquests involved no battles, just a show of force and a few bribes. Meh, these seem a bit cliche but they'll do.

I'd have gone with:

Inca

Traditions
Diplorep +1, diplomatic annexation cost -10%

Quipu: Idea cost -10%
Mitma Policy: Colonists: +1
Mummy Courts: +1 legitimacy
Tambo Waystations: Envoy travel speed +30%
Abolish Hunger: -2 revolt risk
Mit'a System: Build power cost -10%
Andean Warfare: Leader manoeuvre +1

Ambition
+10% production efficiency

By the way, can anyone educate me? Is that historical, that South Americans didn't have major contact with Mesoamericans?

The Inca didn't. The guys in modern Colombia and Ecuador did though, so they were linked, just through middle men.
