They're not terrible ideas but I was expecting much more impressive ideas for the Goths. Too much Age of Empires II I guess.

Chance of new heir, 10% tax and tolerance of the true faith are pretty lame. Discipline comes too late and 5% isn't going to set the world on fire. Army Tradition Decay and merc costs are the big bonuses here which will help the early game when you need it.

Fortifications add manpower, infantry production time cut down by 50%? ; )

How great would that be?

Conscription centers + the idea group that reduces train time + the policy that reduces train time = 1 day Inf = gg no re.

Got ninja'd.

Anyways seems like some good ideas however I don't see them surviving against Crimea, Genoa at least looks threatening enough and often forms a alliance with Lithuania so they can survive.

Actually, that sounds like a pretty neat unique NI. Forts past level 2 also increase manpower. I wish they would add more unique ones like that, but I get that the time to implement such things would be quite large and probably not worth it for what is likely going to be an insignificant AI nation.

As for these ideas, they're not bad, but they're not great. Luckily, the most valuable ideas are front-loaded (merc cost specifically) for an OPM. I was really hoping for reduced culture conversion, though. Spread the Goths!
