I dislike purposeless testimonial parties, and I dislike abstentions even more. If crazy radical guys like Enewald can find a home in the Liberal Party then the AAR will be all the better for it. :)

So difficult to choose this time. I am inclined towards none of the above given Powell is so repulsive and I can't bear to see Densley gloat over a(nother) Liberal win. I may have to wait until the wire this time.

I do not gloat, My Honourable Friend. Perish the thought!

You're lucky there's no Blackadder for me to reference yet. :p

I choose to cast my vote for Labour. I hope this will serve as a counteweight to the more right-leaning additions to the Liberal Party.

Which won't do a thing but making the moderate liberal party stronger? Oh well, socialism here we come.

Well, it stands to reason that if Enewald were the only free-marketeer in the Liberal party then this will be proven true. If there were more than just Enewald, it might be proven false.

Well, While I agree that no shit in the real world revolution will not occur at the ballot box, this is a AAR and in this context and the breaking of the 4th wall, depending on how strong the tories are at 20 votes, ill ether cast my vote for cpgb stalinist or labour.

Remember I voted for them last election. Might do it again. But 2 out of 20-30? Won't make that much of a difference.

Well votng for them will make them have more members, support and resources. For all we know it might lead to revolution. Let us say they get 40% of the votes, then they will most likely proclaim themselves as the vanguard party.

Well, LibLab electoral pact basically means Liberal victory, so this time I will wait and see how the situation will develop.
The inverse situation arose in 1949, with a Tory-Nat Lib electoral pact that came painfully close to the majority, but was defeated. Mind, that might have been only due to the fact that there was a pro-Commie faction within Labour that several Commies voted for.

But... But.... Lin Biaoism? Oh well, suppose plain old Maoism will have to do then.. :(

There are more than just two Enewaldites in the entire world y'know. ;)

Well Maoism/Lin-Baoism is just a continuation of Stalinism. Afterall they say they look the most to PRC and China.

And I am no Enewaldite! I am a Monetarist or moderate Austrian, liberal feminist, democratic liberal, radical centrist and classical liberal - a mix between all these.

I know. :c

Don't worry my proletarian brother, the revolution will come soon!

((Fun fact, as in this AAR I used to be a commie in my younger days  And socialism/communism is one of the things that interest me the most :p ))

All the more reason not to despair then! If there are more than two Enewaldites in the world, and you are not one of those two... :)

Yeah... but it's just not quite the same... :(

It's too early to draw conclusions. But it seems the Right was weakened.
Time to further divide the left then!

You are pure evil. :p

I find it amusing that Enewaldism is now a thing. :p

Societies have always been changed by radical ideals, that eventually became mainstream. At first universal suffrage was considered radical, same with women's rights, or heck, even LGBT rights.
Even Jesus was a radical. :p

People that are willing to criticize the faults of current societal status quo are always branded as radicals by the old guard.

For now I will be called radical for my 'dogma' about freedom of the individual, but eventually I trust more than enough of you will become enlightened. It might take years, whereas some might remain orthodox, who shall in turn to be called 'old dogmatic radicals'.

I truly hope we can witness the decline of Keynesian socialist planning, and have the voters here embrace views that support a more free market. Who knows, maybe in 100 years Liberalism returns to its original roots. :)

So my fellow voters, you can now choose between Socialist Labour, Stalinist Commies, Authoritarian Tories or centrist Liberals.
We may have wondered far and wide away from the great Whig party that stood for liberties of the individual and for free trade; but we are still the least worst choice.

*puts wig on*

One of the best speeches I have ever heard! **cries**

At least the Liberals aren't opposed to immigration, and they support further liberalization of the individual - for now.

All the more reason not to despair then! If there are more than two Enewaldites in the world, and you are not one of those two... :)

Who is the other then?

There's the dog as well, correct? I thought it went Tory.

Who?

My vote should be obvious, as usual. CPGB (Stalinist)!

The CPGB cannot allow the wretched revisionists and their pacifist ways to stop the working class revolution! Let the ideas of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism (Lin-Baoism ;)) lead Britain to the red dawn we need!

I vote for the Conservative Party, though I'm not very happy with their decidedly anti-freedom stance on immigration and the colonies.
