Suffrage Amendment: Nay

I cannot comprehend why my colleagues of the MLP support this Amendment.

- Senator Sir Maximiliaan van Brabant, OPL

Because we don't have sensibilities from 100 years ago ... literally.

My lover is going to slap you
((I wan so much to make a huge deal over this and try to prosecute you. :p))
de Coock murmurs under his breath:
"And a very good morning to you as well, Amedee. I wonder how you ever got elected."

I'm not sure why nobody has said anything about this yet but, you can't threaten people because they didn't vote they way you wanted. This is literally illegal and I would suggest you stop and apologize to the deputy.

Damn socialist trying to up heave Belgian society, by allowing women to vote! Women have no business in politics.

I wonder how de Coock is allowed to stay in the party after not supporting such an important party position!

I suggest de Coock apologize to the women of Belgium. What is he doing in the BSU if he doesn't support women's suffrage?

Monsieur de Coock is always welcome to join the SDP if he wishes to escape the radicalism and intolerance of the BSU. I am certain that he would find it much more hospitable than the BSU has shown itself to be.

Please continue, Monsieur. It pleases me beyond definition to witness the continued division of Socialism.

Should the Suffrage Amendment pass, then in accordance with the Constitutional requirement that any legislation be ratified by a Senatorial majority, I call for a formal vote within the Senate.

((What doth the in-game Senate say about women's suffrage at this stage, TH?))

I think you have your ideologies confused Heer Dupointe, a socialist need not vote to allow woman's suffrage. As while some socialists are insane godless oppressors others are respectable men who are just slightly mistaken on what party they should be in. You are not of the latter.

Another shameless attempt to divide the Socialist movement in the name of personal interest.
It seems that "Comrade" Poirot just can't help himself. No matter, the next elections will see him excluded from the parliament by our own electors, they don't like opportunists.
