If you do not know what module might be causing a bug or issue you're experiencing, please post it in this thread.

Please include the contents of the "version.txt" file in your HIP folder when making a bug report.
If you're using any mods outside HIP, make sure to note those as well.
If you've made any edits to HIP, make sure to note those as well.
Screenshots are appreciated where feasible.

This thread should be stickied.

Except in cases when you know for certain the specific HIP module to blame, all of your bug reports / technical support issues belong in this thread. If it is clear which HIP module is to blame, then by all means do post your issue directly to that HIP mod's thread.

This will make it a lot easier to quickly help resolve technical issues and uncover bugs in any of HIP's mods or the installer.
 
I am using HIP with all modules except SWMH. All the women characters in my realm have no faces! And some of them are empty and I can't even click on these empty circles to view the character.

There should be a portrait fix in your files, check with the viet thread.

Im using SWMH, PB, VIEt Events and ARKO. My problem is map related. Playing in the HRE area I realized that some of the provinces seem to have problems. An Army travelling from Ruestingen to Ostfriesland takes 5 month! I think there are other areas where the same happens. Thanks for investigating.

Are you using NBRT+ as well? If so that's a bug caused by the combination of PB, SWMH, and NBRT+.
It is getting fixed next version. To fix it in your own copy, simply delete terrain.txt in the map folder.
 
I am using everything except SWMH and Interfaces. I really enjoyed Culturally Different Cities and was glad to see that it was included with Immersion. However after playing for a while something seemed wrong. so I took some comparison pics. I'm not sure if its always been an issue and I just noticed it? Or if there is some sort of conflict. But only the two default city gfx appear to be loading.

It'll increase travel time across the board by 30-50% or so, yes.

The alternative is to get rid of the suez_ocean terrain-type defined in there, and changing text_12 to refer to coastal_desert instead of suez_ocean.
 
I don't know which specific HIP module is causing this problem.

Bug:
NorseGaelic or Gall Godiel do not have any castle culture buildings.

Modules Used:
HIP (Full) Project Balance, SWMH, VIET Events, ARKOpack and NBRT+

Non HIP Mods Used:
Family Relations

Current Workaround:
Adding norsegaelic under Irish Gallowglass in the 00_CastleCulture text file.

Example Of Whats Wrong:

Requested Solution:

But I thought the problems were within the HRE? So what would the suez_ocean terrain type have to do with that?

NBRT+ uses the same terrain index for cliffs as PB uses for suez_ocean. So combine PB, SWMH, and NBRT+, then anywhere with cliffs will suddenly have huge movement times.
 
Is there a way to see what is causing a crash? I started a game in late 1271 and I autosave monthly. The game crashed shortly after the January 1273 save. Now if I try to load Jan. 1273 it crashes before loading the map. I also tried loading Dec. 1272 but that crashed immediately upon loading. How would I tell what is causing this?
 
Hey guys, minor bug that I just noticed while playing 'Stamford Bridge' as William the Bastard; in the hover text for the Isle of Wight it says something about sharing a border with Siberia (can't quite remember the exact wording)..

I'm unsure what modules I'm playing with exactly, but safe to say I'm using the new map.. ;)
