Brief Summary of Issue: CTD on loading. Fixed by activating unit packs. Due to a load time of ~15 minutes for each game, I elected to not find out what combination exactly was needed. Though not active at start, all portrait packs are owned, so it could be anyone of them.
EDIT - Did NOT check bugtracker, as it defaults to a login page and there is (despite your claim) no way to advance to the tracker itself without registration.

Just resign and load the save that seems to fix it for me, it only happens after like 1 hour of playing, and I don't know what is causing it.

Unit packs. I play LI quite a bit, so I have all portrait packs enabled unless for some reason I need to turn one of them off, and they were all enabled for the crash.

You sure you didn't update CK2 to 2.0.2? It auto-updates on steam if you have auto-updates enabled.

The events that removes the secret_vampire_c trait and add the vampire_c trait causes the your character's portrait to age due to removing and then reapplying immortality. This can easily be fixed by switching the order the traits are added and removed. Adding the vampire_c trait first and then removing the secret_vampire_c trait instead of vice versa means the character does not lose imortality for that brief moment and therefore does not age.

You also need to ensure that you gain the trait in-game and not through the Ruler Designer.

No, no unit packs are necessary. I've tested to the development and released version with all unit packs disabled and didn't CTD.
0.1.4 has a few issues, I think it's best to wait for 0.1.4a which I'll be putting out tomorrow evening if testing goes ok (I don't want to put out a broken installer again :laugh

Nothing like this has ever happened before, so I'm inclined to believe it has something to do with the mod.
At the absolute best, it means that you overloaded the memory and you just won't be able to run EK without common restarting due to your setup, hardware, or programs taking up memory. Second best is you have a really old system and need to update some software, which may or may not work. Third (at which point things are inherently bad) would be you might have a virus/malware/whatever limiting your system capability. Worst is that your hardware is actually damaged, but you don't push it enough to notice it that often.
