EDIT: I was asked by MP if I could add a new download link, here it is!

My pleasure to see that it is still useful to some four years later.

Hi,

This mod aims to provide ahistorical but plausible ministers and leaders for Primorsk, should it be released in game by Japan. Actually, the vanilla choice date back from HOI2 and is made of unknow peoples or ones dead for decades (like Father Georji Gapon, killed in 1906!), and as I myself often release the country during my games I decided to make full cabinets primary based on the White émigrés hosted by Japan in Manchuria.
I hope that bigger mods will integrate that minimod, as it could be see as a "fix", and voluntarily keep it as simple as possible, without events: depending of Japan's ideology when it release Primorsk, the cabinet will be more or less right wing, headed by Kislitsin if FA or Rodzaevsky if NS.
I only added the new ministers and leaders at the bottom of the DH files, wich mean that the vanilla ones are still there and will be available in game if the country is released by a democratic or leftist country!

New Version!

Upgraded version of the minimod, with some news ministers and pics. The Fascist and NS cabinets are now reworked, more different, with more alternatives for most positions and Chiefs of Air Force and Navy are now covered.

You only need to copy and paste the folders "gfx" and "db" in the mod folder you want, may it be DH Full, WiF2, EoD, DH Light, ... This is fully compatible with every mod that do not touch the Primorsk ministers and leaders, which I assume mean virtually all except KR ;)

Some of the 20's new ministers&leaders.

Awesome! Thank you so much.

Would those cabinets also make sense for a Far Eastern Republic that continued to exist as a country post-1922?

It's depend of your timeline. The original Far Eastern Republic was socialist and Soviet-aligned, so my cabinet doesn't make sense.
Howewer, if in your timeline the May 1921 white coup succeed (wich is in my opinion the main alt history reason for wich a Far Eastern Republic would still be there in the 30's), then my cabinet is quite okay. Not perfect, but way better than vanilla. You would need to use the fascist ministers of my file (Semionov, Kislitsin, ...), and change them to PA. (To wich they are closer in fact, especially without Japanese influence)

Hi, you seem to know a fair bit about the Russian revolution. I'm making a alternate history mod, and need help with historical information. Would you be willing to help me with information?

Yes of course. I hope I will be able to answer you, we will see. Feel free to send a PM!
I must say that your mod is quite mysterious, that intriguing ;)

Could you add some Democrats and Socialists/Communists? So you could make a complete Far Eastern/Primorsk Politican mod. You seem to know a lot about this topic :)

I may do that, but it's difficult to find democrats who lasted after the 20's and especially the 30's. Perhaps at the least the Commie alternative, as seeing Isaac Asimov (which is a great author, but otherwise born in Belarus and emigrated in the US at the age of 3 in the early 20's*) as leftist HoS is a nice easter egg but leave room for improvement.
The problem I have is that I don't want to discard the entire file Hoi2 and then DH use, but most of the men part of it are totally unknown to me, and I didn't find them by looking in english and russian (cyrillic) on the internet. The fact that I don't find them however does not means that they are false, since internet is not an excellent source on little know russians of the 20 century anyway.
(the others being already dead or having nothing to do here give me little trust but still. For exemple some are in my opinion russians arctic scientists from various time period with random pictures but I can't be sure.)

(*: Note that they changed Isaac's firstname in Konradin, but the picture is clearly him. Don't know if it is a reference or a tentative to hide the trick?)

Great stuff!

Thanks!

Good job. I hope other mods integrate this as well.

Thanks!

Maybe a Russian Republic minister set for the 1930s-1940s. :) (unfurls a wad of cash)

Can you fix siberia too because Kolchak was six feet under a long, long, long time ago..........

*try to catch the money*

Yeah, Siberian cabinet is awful too. I simply don't understand why Paradox did that. At the least in DH it would have somewhat make sense as the game begin in 1914, but in Hoi2, with start in 1936?

I will probably do something about it someday but I have really few modding time left for the moment, and I have a lot of things to do for Fatherland. (I'm doing a democratic, PA, FA and NS minister/leader files for a post-Soviet Union Russia in the 40's-60's timeframe among others things, and I want a lot of alternatives, so that we could have power-struggle, Germans interventions [when the leadership is taking too much independence, or the master in Berlin change], possible Allied conquest/liberation ect and have realistic and dynamic cabinets in each case. I think I will be able to do it, and I'm in good way, but that's a long work! Of course I will release it for vanilla too when it will be done :))

The thing is also that I want to keep the possibility of having Russia (RUS), Siberia and Primorsk on the map at the same time, with similar ideologies, with each having different ministers&leaders. It's okay for Primorsk as I used the peoples in the japanese sphere of influence, but as a result every man I will use for Siberia won't be available for Russia. Even if Siberia is probably more often released than Russia, I would tend to keep the "majors" for the biggest. What do you think?
