Wow, randomly check for a new update, and one was posted 5 minutes ago!

This one is a lot less wordy, all there really is, is a bunch of statistics.

EDIT: Typos?

There are also other
... Other what?

The Mamlukes where conquered by the Ottomans, not the Mamlukes...

+2% Tolerance of Heathern
Heathern? Extra r in there. Also, I don't think tolerance is normally a percentage.

Nice. We already had seen all the MAM ideas but the others are new.

Oman seems like an interesting state to play now. I dont think Ive ever played Oman in Eu3.

Liking the religious bonuses. Hordes' are especially fitting.

Anndddd now I can go to bed :D

Can you form Egypt?

And it is Qızılbahşı.

Well, the Mamluks already do kind of control, and are based in Egypt... Though, quite a few people have been suggesting that in such cases, the nation should display the dynasty name, and when it becomes a Republic, it uses the name of the nation, so if the Mamluks had a republican revolution, it could display as 'Egypt.'

How are the Persians spawned, if you start in 1444? Will we get to see them in every game, and will they be an actual threat, to an Ottoman player?

Likely due to the cores inside the Timurid provinces. In EU3, when the Timurids break apart (They tend to be much less stable, when compared to the Golden Horde,) Persia tends to form due to the nationalist rebels.

What's the difference between +2 and +2% tolerance of the heathens (TIMMEH's v Oman's ideas?)

Ya but this is 1444, completely different situation, especially as the Timurds are in full retreat. How do the Persians spawn; and how often are we going to see them?

Paradox, what do you mean by Iqta? AFAIK Iqta (اقطاع) is just the Arabic word for Feudalism. Why have a different term / gameplay element? And if so, why don't other Muslim monarchies have it?

Oman sounds really intresting

Until this DD, I wasn't thinking about playing as Oman. "Portugal of the Muslim World" looks really interesting. And it will be really fun when fighting aganist Portugal at Red Sea and India.

Does +100% chance of new heir mean you are guaranteed an heir?

The Mamelukes look to have truly awesome trade ideas... I bet lots of people will be supporting attempts to wipe them out, if only to make their life easier.

Of course the comparison with Burgundy/Netherlands may be unfair... but they get more trade steering and trade income than either, and get both!
