It's weird I tried to use version 0.6 C D E and version 0.7 and only 0.6 D works for me ( I posted the problem with O.6 E and it's same for C and 0.7) ( also I have different problem with D but propably it's something with my save ).

That is rather odd. Any chance you can upload your save somewhere so I can take a look?

I fixed it myself, using 0.6 D I convert save with no problem. No idea what went wrong but when I started making less nations from save that didn't crash and tried to convert those new saves it worked fine.
I just fired it up for my ERE game, which isn't a WC, but the map is mostly a nice shade of Imperial Purple. 
Noticed a couple of interesting things - well, other than the interesting placement of countries which is more amusing than anything else - namely, that I had a one-ship fleet in every port, and that my manpower pool appears to be somewhat excessive. In fact, it's somewhere in the vicinity of sixty five and a half million. It appears I can recruit something like two-thirds of the population of Europe. Maybe people think the Roman Empire (although I've reverted back to being Byzantium... booo ), even though the tooltip says my maximum manpower pool is somewhat smaller, at 433k.
Also, the Timurids (and the other Mongol Hordes, I'm assuming) seem to have retained their no-attrition doomstacks, if the 60k stack lurking on my borders is anything to go by. Although that might have been due to the fact that I was at war with them when I converted the save game - I've rolled back to pre-war and the doomstack isn't there. Or it's no longer visible from my borders, which may or may not be the same thing. My available manpower pool has also dropped... to sixty two and a half million.

The thing with the fleets is expected. They convert from your potential fleets, and thus end up spread out initially.
The excessive manpower was a bug, fortunately it was easy to fix.
And the hordes will keep their doomstacks. Fortunately for you (and not for them), they should now suffer from attrition.
That was an interesting bug (one or more republic families are still active, but with only their palace, swearing fealty to no-one, and having no de jure liege). Fortunately, it was easy to fix.
That's good. However, I'd still like to do something about the underlying bug. Would you mind uploading a save that has that crash?
Essentially what I was thinking. Any ideas for manufactories or specifics on the fort level?
For the fort level, we could either base on the greatest fortress in the province, or on the average of all fortresses. I would choose the first one. For manufactories...the only decent idea I have is about universities. Sum all levels of Cathedral Schools and Universities in one province, if you break through...ten? you get the uni. Other manus are hard, though. If a province is richer than x it gets a manu adequate to the trade good?
If it's based on potential fleets, why only one per coastal province? After all, some counties were able to raise larger levy fleets than others in CK2.
It wasn't a big thing, more amusing than annoying. 'Well, I have about 100 times the available manpower I should, and probably about 10 times more than I can afford to maintain. Let's do this." *conquers the world in 50 years*
Interestingly, when I went back to a pre-war save (which was the previous year - 1397 as opposed to 1398), the doomstack had seemed to vanish. It certainly didn't show up when the Timurids declared war on me using the "you exist" CB that the hordes seem to have.

Another quick update on the UI. Haven't spent too much time on this lately due to the amount of work at, well, work. I suddenly found myself being the bottle neck in a process where we merged two branches of code that had been split off from each other for 1-2 years, with intense development in both branches. My enthusiasm for coding more after lots of overtime at work is limited.
But a few things have fallen into place since my last update:
My next step will be to actually represent the loaded configuration in the UI. The data is there, but the UI representation is currently not usable in any meaningful way. I've also moved the UI code over to the minor branch, as discussed in my previous post.

- Almost all configuration has been moved to xml
- Basic xml parsing/troubleshooting help. When, for whatever reason, the app fails to read the xml file, it will throw out line and column number to let the user know approximately where the problem is.
- Built a generic system for loading said xml file and loading it up to the UI.
My next step will be to actually represent the loaded configuration in the UI. The data is there, but the UI representation is currently not usable in any meaningful way. I've also moved the UI code over to the minor branch, as discussed in my previous post.
Finally got a chance to play with 0.7 and cultural tech conversion. Good news bad news. The good news is that the converter no longer crashes when a country gets over a quadrillion tech points on a 5 point scale, it just assigns them to western tech and goes on. The bad news is that several countries are still getting over a quadrillion tech points out of 5 possible.
Dragging and dropping the save onto the exe does nothing, the cmd prompt appears for like .0002 seconds and it doesnt even print a log error. If I run it, it prints some lines in the log like its going to work and then says cannot open input.ck2
Well, I fixed this, now it runs some, and then stalls and crashes at Mapping CK2 nations to EU3 nations. Both games are vanilla
