I submitted my starting OOB, we need fewer followers and more players! :p

I agree :) Remember, you don't need to have any experience with HOI 3 to join

I would be proud to represent the interests of the great state of Arizona in the Senate of these grand, united States of America!

Name: Jake Manson, Senator for Arizona.
Born: 1900 (age 37)
Party: Socialist Party.

Policy ideas:
-- Foreign policy plans: Mass intervention overseas, maintenance of American hegemony over the Americas.

-- Budgets for IC: Expansion of naval infrastructure, manufacturing facilities in the Western CONUS, massive expansion of the United States Navy, for the purposes of power projection and enforcement of the Monroe Doctrine.

-- Budgets for Leadership: The United States must maintain its primacy in matters of industrial production and naval dominance. To these ends, any advances that strengthen leadership, IC, and our proud navy, must be prioritized.

-- Declaring war/signing peace treaties: War should be declared when victory is guaranteed to be swift, peaces signed when they are in the best interests of the American people.

-- Which faction we align ourselves to, if any: The People of the United States will not be the puppets or servants of foreign powers. We will align ourselves to the existing powers, as we need.

-- If one of the Big Four needs to be fired/replaced: The assignment of military staff members is the perogative of the executive branch, not the legislative. Leave such matters to the President to decide.

-- Input on our general deployments overseas: Maintain and strengthen our holdings overseas, though not to the extent of unduly endangering the security of CONUS.

-- All decisions and law changes: Education must be the primary priority of this administration. America is unique among the great empires of history in its love of technology. It has served us well, and will continue to do so, as long as our people remain educated enough to ensure it. Besides education, I would encourage the expansion of the military-industrial complex, for the purposes of strengthening our nation.

-- Nukes: Any and all weapons must be made available to our armed forces, for the protection of the Republic. Arizona will gladly play host to any advanced testing facilities that may be required for these ends. Hoover Dam will provide plenty of power, while the abundant copper mines should provide plentiful materials.

-- ETC: ((OOC: I put the Socialist and Nationalist back in National-Socialist. XD))

So we've got two players, and both want to be socialists?! Again, I'll register you as an independent, but it looks like we may have to make a new party!

California and Arizona have Socialists? Welcome to the Left Coast, my friend!

Even though Arizona has no coastline :)

We still need a Chief of the Army, Air Force, and Armaments Minister. I've gotten Sathis' OOB for the Navy, so at least that section of the military is in good hands.

Any need of more senators? I would love to be one

Well, we have 94 slots, so yeah, we could use a few more :)

Mobile Warfare is represented by various types of armoured units and, most importantly, the Motorized Infantry and Mechanized Infantry brigades. Mechanized Infantry are a 1941 level tech that require Motorized Infantry and levels of tech in Light Tank, as I recall.

You recall that completely correct! He's a futuristic guy isn't he?

Actually I just looked it up and I'm slightly wrong. Mechanized Infantry tech requires Motorized Infantry tech, level 3 Infantry Tech and 1 level of Medium Tank Armour Tech to research. Light tank tech does however upgrade Mech after you've researched it. xP It's not hard to get, but the cost to build mechanized combined with the cost of fuel and supplies makes them too expensive for most powers. The US is definitely the single best-equipped nation to handle them, so I don't mind if our Army ends up investing in them. Besides, it'll be the Navy and USMC that win our wars! ;)

And I'm a futuristic gal, if you're referring to me. :p

Seems a lot of people want to support my glorious Navy. I shall resist the urge to bring forth a propaganda drive.

I was referring to my characters love for mech tecs. However it seems that HoI3 game mechanics are slightly different from HoI2, hence the confussion.
The Navy and Marines might be the USA's most powerful weapon, but once we land to free our allies (Whoever thats gonna be) we do need a strong force to punch through!

Now that Im thinking of it, maybe we're getting a little ahead of ourselves, seeing that the game hasnt started yet!

I would like to join... But I never played HoI3, or an Interactive AAR, and am a bit scared about do it really bad... Should I join and try it?

There's no need to be scared! Even if you haven't played HOI 3, you can still offer valuable opinions, insight, and voting. You can't really do "badly".

Then, I will try XD

Name: Senator George Coleman of Pennsylvannia

-- Foreign policy plans: Neutrality, no enter in the war wothout been attacked.

-- Budgets for IC: Prioritize Infrastructure and IC buildings, ships.

-- Budgets for leadership: Industrial techs, naval techs

-- Declaring war/signing peace treaties: Never declare the war, except to countries that have attacked us, or her allies. We should sign a peace treaty when we are sure that that nation won´t be a mennace for us..

-- Which faction we align ourselves to, if any: No faction to align. If we must choose one, it should be the enemy of our enemies

-- If one of the Big Four needs to be fired/replaced: Replace with capable men.

-- Input on our general deployments overseas: We should have troops only in our territory, for defend it. If other nations aren´t strong enough to defend herself, we mustn´t help them or send troops

-- All decisions and law changes: Focus in get a stable political situation, that would work for the economy

Don't have the guts to start my own AAR but still feel like writing and partaking in something to make myself useful, therefore I'd like to be a senator.

Name: Senator Nathan B. Mount of New York
Born: 1884 (52 years)
Party: Republican

Policy ideas:
-- Foreign policy plans: Apart from our close allies we have nothing to do with foreign nations and therefore should mind our own business, we have a depression to take care off. Let the Europeans fight for themselves this time!

-- Budgets for IC: Our top priority should be our own nation. The industry and the infrastructure need to be strong so we can give our people what they need. Our second priority should be the army, we need to be able to properly defend our homeland against threats from all sides. The navy will come in last, but of course not least. It should just be outfitted for defensive operations.

-- Budgets for leadership: Maximize luxury goods for our people and provide enough officers for our army so the unemployed can enlist in the armed forces for employment.

-- Declaring war/signing peace treaties: Only if another nation dares to attack US territory or personnel we should reside to declaring war. When we declare war we should set up goals, to teach them a proper lesson not to mess with our proud nation. When that is done we should obviously return to peace for the benefit of the nation.

-- Which faction we align ourselves to, if any: The United States of America do not need a faction, we are a faction ourselves. Like any war will break out any time soon.

-- If one of the Big Four needs to be fired/replaced: Seek talented young individuals who have shown great talent during smaller assignments.

-- Input on our general deployments overseas: Only defend our own territory and that of our really close allies, we don't want to be solving other's people problems like we did in the Great War.

-- All decisions and law changes: Creating a strong industry to help us battle the Great Depression while we take extra care of our citizens, times are harsh enough. If war arrives we can always make it harsher.

-- Nukes!: What are these things? Come back to me when you got a real weapon of mass destruction instead of some fantasy tale!

Welcome aboard, Senators! If anybody knows somebody that might be interested in taking over Chief of the Army, Chief of the Air Force, or Armaments Minister, please send them along; we can't really get started without them!
