I have thought that the HoI2 AAR forum was abandoned, probably for HoI3, but it seems things are going back to normal.
By the way , why you don't use any graphic improvment pack ? I use GiP versions 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 09. and 1.0 combined toghether, plus my own modifications. This is transforming a great game to an awsome one.

It seems, that I play HOI2 only in autumn )
No, I don't like HOI3 for many reasons. But I've tried AoD and DH. Both are good, but I think that AoD is breaking balance, so I prefer DH. Alas, I can't move my HOI2 games into DH. So, I have to continue this AAR in HOI2 platform.
Graphic packs? I like design of HOI2 with old b\w photos. The only thing, that I would change - is the colors of the political map.
Someone ought to remind the UK that the Japanese are not the enemy. The Brits are giving people the wrong impression.
Maybe peace with Netherlands will calm UK. Anyway, Brits should think about Hitler and Stalin. Until now, Japan does no harm to UK.
No wonder the Brits are a bit tight towards the Japanese: you're sinking ships right off their coastline.
