EDIT: Oops, your fix worked. Thanks!

What about the Steam version?

Most Venerable Paradox, any idea if VP is doing a patch with the same checksum as the Windows version?

Short answer: No.

Almost as short answer: Bootcamp windows.

Is this another beta patch, or an "official" patch. Asking because there's been issues in the past with expansions from unoffficial patches, so need to find out if I still need my backup EU3 directory

I'm having a problem with it. Everytime i run the official patch through the launcher it says "Heir to the Throne is not installed" (my copy of httt is from impulse)

Looks like the old list to me.

There's also:
* Dynamic names of countries will now be seen on the map as its zoomed out, adapting to borders as they change.
* Large overhaul of the Holy Roman Empire, with benefits to those that stay members, and penalties on those trying to wreck it.
* Dozens of major gameplay enhancements, including reinforcing mercenaries, possibility for local naval supremacy, and possibility to annex countries with more than one province.
* Lots of improvements to the AI, providing a more challenging experience for the veteran users.
* Several Interface improvements, including more detailed information for military units and details on the Imperial elections.

On the announcement, should all be new. Crash on exit is also fixed IIRC.

For people with Steam, as always I'm afraid you need to wait until Steam release their version.

Well, in the April beta...

I've definitely seen the dynamic names zoomed out.
I don't know about the HRE, I rarely play it.
My mercenaries reinforce, and I've annexed quite a few multi-province countries.

I'm not complaining, mind you, I'm just not certain where the improvements are.

Any changes from beta? I think attrition thing in big stack AI is new?

This is new:
- Fixed colony construction crash bug

There's also:

On the announcement, should all be new. Crash on exit is also fixed IIRC.

Dynamic display of country names on zoom out and detailed info for military units and imperial elections aren't new to this release version. Neither is the ability to annex nations with more than one province. So, only half of your "new stuff" is actually new. :p
