Nice work men!

PS: One thing, I have notice that the province of Trinidad is "Port of Spain", but as far I'm concerned, it is "Puerto España" even if English is the language of the island. What is correct?

From Wikipedia:

It says that this town was called Puerto España till 1797 when England took this island and from then its official name is Port-of-Spain.

Strange, because in my World Atlas and the Spanish Wikipedia it's "Puerto España".

Well, in fact it doesn't mind.

After downloading the E3 map (great work guys, look terrific!) I decided I wanted to mod a border through using James map utility. But I get the infamous milestone error which should come up when you have to many or few connections. As I only changed a border and not any province connections I would like to know if any of you know the number of connections there are on this E3 map? That would at least give me an idea what is going wrong. Thanks in advance!

This is how my adj-mod.txt file looks:
Code:
#This file modifies the creation of adjacent.tbl by MapMaker
#It overrides the default calculations of province adjancies
#To be used, this file must be placed in the same directory as MapMaker
#This default file may be needed for HoI, use it if not using it causes a milestone error
#The format is from;to;action
#From is the first province, to is the second, and the action is either Add or Delete

I had to delete all these connections, copy and paste it to your adj-mod.txt file and then try step 3 in Map Editor, then you should have 14860 connections. It should work. If something else will cause an error, PM to Jamie maybe.

Thanks Mumia, that solved the problem!

However the colors of the region I changed got strange (much darker and clear) but I guess it has to do something with the colorscale file, perhaps I didn´t index it right.

While at it Mumia, do you happen to know if this mod is workable with the core mod? I saw a thread where I think you tried to merge the to mods but I´m seemed a bit abandoned. And In which state would you say this mod E3 mod is?

If there is anything I can do just let me know.

Cheers!

This map should work with all versions and mods, but has to be adapted to them first and I don't know if there is last CORE with this map. Pplmm adapted CORE to our map, but to some older version.

Our map is in 90% done, only some graphical changes and fixing province.csv to finish and it should be fully playable. Mostly I need help with terrain, it's one big mess in Asia and Americas, we need to fix IC and resources too. The thing I've finished are land regions, they looks normal now and shouldn't cause any problem in game using air force.

Just one thing I thought- in the early 1930s Tannu Tuva gave Mongolia a large area of what would in HoI2 terms be Northern Muren province which contained many ethnic Tuvinians, under pressure from the Soviet Union.

Perhaps in the new map this could be an extra province which Tuva could demand back if it so chose?

Strange, because in my World Atlas and the Spanish Wikipedia it's "Puerto España".

Well, in fact it doesn't mind.

it always does, english atlas give ploand the cities polish names but a german atlas uses the german names. for some cities a country have other names (in own language) and then will always call it like that, because it is there own language.

maybe you can also make a german e3 map, with al cities in there german names, that gives better dimensuion to the war and i like it for a mod i go e3 make compatible, only for myself. but then Bromberg, Posen, Gdingen, Thorn, Warschau etc. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liste_der_Städte_in_Polen all the names in polish and behind it in german. there are more litses for the names in romania, czech-slovakia, slovenia, italien. http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=463587 in the second post you central europe in german names. but dont change provinces borders, like they now are is perfectly good.
