I like the second emperor icon. I'm using your traits.bmp now, thanks for sharing it.
Replaced the Rebellious icon with another one - the blue color of the original seemed too ... cheerful for a the sentiment 
I also include the new provincial banners: 1,3 & 4 are BeBro's while 2 (burghers) is mine.

Well this Rebellious icon wasn't much after all so I changed it again - to match the Realm Duress one.

2- My first attempt - not very good - I wish I knew how to do a fade out coloring like he does in hi own icons - but I'm good at cut and paste

I really like the Emperor and heretic/excomunicated ones.
But, I don't like the traits in colour. So is there any possibility of making at least those two in the original colours?

You have download the wrong file (you have downloaded the example BMP file of how the traits look).
You can either download and install traits3 or traits4, those contain the file that are needed for the game.
Well there's my PROBLEM!
Reloaded the RIGHT file and they look great.
