i think it might be alaska. Take that draw units up through from the mainland and canada, bomb them to hell with some planes invade further south and encircle them!
It is a very long way to Portugese coast (not mentioning all those Italian and other troops) and Atlantic wont be secure with Home Fleet (and American carriers) so I do not see invasion on Eastern Coast in less than one year.
It definitively will be an interesting year!

"Good morning your Majesty, Gentlemen." Hideki began the Cabinet meeting. "Some major progress has been made in some areas during July but our objectives still remain far from complete for 1949.
- Reduce the United States Navy to below fifteen Aircraft Carriers.
- Reduce the Allies to below twenty member States.
- Capture Europe with the exception of the United Kingdom and Ireland.
- Capture Africa.
- Capture all territory in the Mediterranean Sea and purge the sealanes of enemy shipping.
- Destroy the Comintern Alliance.
As we will see from Minister Kuniaki the United States has less than fifteen Fleet Carriers at this time but the goal is to keep them below that number on December 31st. All of our other objectives are progressing but some are looking increasingly unlikely."

"Yes your Majesty. The American Carrier numbers and the destruction of the Comintern Alliance are attainable with little difficulty. Reducing the Allies to below twenty member States is possible. Africa is almost certainly out of our grasp for this year because of travel times and enemy forces and the Mediterranean is similar to Europe because of Italy. Ah, an incursion into Alaska! Why not, that should give the Americans a little headache. I would predict that this will also get their main fleet into action pretty soon...

I sincerely hope that the USA will actually respond to this incursion unlike they did after the Japanese conquest of Hawaii.

Very nice progress, Remble, but is there any way to increase your woeful manpower?
audacious invasion- might be harder to pick off the US divisions in their own backyard though. better be prepared for a naval onslaught (what little there is left)

Would it be possible to speed up the advances in Africa with some amphibious assaults from the Atlantic side? With the American carriers being much less a threat than previously, there might be an opportunity for the BC fleet to move a few units along the coast....

In the hands of a player, the United States can be a dragon. In the hands of the AI, the United States can only dream of being a dragon.
When I played as the United States, I conquered...I mean...liberated half the world.
I wonder if Remble ever been tempted to "nofog" the United States.
He could edit japanmanpower.txt, and change it from an AI-only event, which would bump him up to almost 3 MP/day, but I know he would never do that.
