Indeed please do. DEN,SPA/SPR, TIB have been coded. Awaiting upload (later in the afternoon). I can also still do FIN/HOL/NOR/SWE today.

Please Kunadam try to help on the pics. I can do the code on my side.

I have coded the following suggestions:

Otto Hahn, Telefunken GmbH, C.G. Haenel GmbH, Degussa, Heimsoeth & Rinke, Vereinigte Stahlwerke AG

Please have a look and let me know.

Here the pictures to be changed http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showpost.php?p=10422347&postcount=499.

Please I need your help about that.

thank you! i actually have the pictures as .bmp's but i didn't know about the format getting changed when i upload them.

I've put the original .bmp pics in an archive, hope that helps.

could someone help me resize the pics? or tell me how to? Or at least tell me the sizes?

The size for a pic is 96x96x8 bpp.

Personally, I use irfanview (just google it) to resize pictures. Here is a quick how to for this software:

1) If the original picture is already a multiple of 96x96 (so the picture is a square), you go to Image > Resize/Resample and you put 96 in the case for width. The option 'Preserve aspect ratio' should be selected by default. Then you optain a picture of 96x96.

Then you must convert it to grayscale. There is an option 'convert to grayscale'.

2) If the image is not a square, you must select the proper area that you want to keep. It's really simple, you just select the area with your mouse until it's a square (you can see the width and height of the picture in the title bar of the software irfanview). When you have the proper area selected, you have to go to edit > crop selection. And then it's the same as step one described above.

I don't know if I have been clear enough. If you have any questions, please ask them.

I would add mechanics to Teiji Takagi because of the cipher machine he developed.

ref http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Purple_(cipher_machine)

According to same wiki article in japanese, "Professor Teiji Takagi was requested by Engineer Tanabe et al to estimate Purple machine's strength" and was "unable to calculate the exact number but estimated at least a trillion possible changes in output".

So it seems he didn't participate in machine development except his calculation.

The institute was founded in 1946 by Johannes van der Corput, David van Dantzig, Jurjen Koksma, Hendrik Anthony Kramers, Marcel Minnaert and Jan Arnoldus Schouten. It was originally called Mathematical Centre (in Dutch: Mathematisch Centrum). One of the early missions of CWI was to develop mathematical prediction models to assist large Dutch engineering projects, such as the well-known Delta Works. During this early period, the Mathematics Institute also helped with designing the wings of the Fokker F27 Friendship airplane, voted in 2006 as the most beautiful Dutch design of the 20th century.

It was designed and built by Carel Scholten and Bram Loopstra, and was finished in 1952. Because of reliability problems it was soon taken out of commission, and "updated" to the ARRA II, which actually was a completely new design.

This was followed by the vacuum tube-based BESK, operational in 1954, which for a short time was the fastest computer in the world.

Carl Gustav Fleischer is in vanilla already.

I personally don’t find army academies relevant enough as tech-teams. Every country has them and their main undertaking is to educate students, not doing research. The Norwegian Defense Research Establishment (Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt – FFI) from my proposals for Norway is much more relevant as a Norwegian military academic tech-team.

Then you must convert it to 8 bpp. And for that, you go to Image > Decrease color depth > then you just press OK (the option for 8 bpp is selected by default).

2) If the image is not a square, you must select the proper area that you want to keep. It's really simple, you just select the area with your mouse until it's a square (you can see the width and height of the picture in the title bar of the software irfanview). Edit: To Easy1 thanks for the new pics. And Stalkov for helping me resize them.

I think some of your suggestions are great. I think there is an unspoken policy of not having more than one university tech-team for each country though, and I find “The Chinese Academy of Sciences” most relevant.

I’m still not sure about including the company of Anshan Iron and Steel Group, in addition to its manager as tech-teams. That seems to me a little superfluous, there should be another, more sensible tech-to fill that space for China.

Kurdistan has only on tec-team from what I know, here is some ideas from my side.

Especially your picture of the Kurdistan liberation army is clearly from the 90s or the 00s. Not very reasonable in a game that reflects the WWII-period. I’m quite unsure about giving a “terrorist organization” status as a tech-team. I’m also very doubtful of the position of this liberation army in the 30s, 40s and 50s. I’m guessing that the organized armed secession movement for a separate Kurdistan-state is more or less “modern”.

Are you sure the Kurdistan Oil Company existed in the 40s?

@ Cegorach

I had some suggestions for the Baltic States before you took the task of collecting tech-teams for them. Your suggestions are already great. So what do you think of my eventually additional ones? I find some of them very relevant. I think Lithuania has too few teams by the way, only eight, while the other Baltic States has ten.

Estonia

Should the Tallinn Military Arsenal really deserve the position as a tech-team? Is it a producer of ammunition, small arms or what?
