Sounds like I was ignored in the FTG forum so I will re-post here. Yoda did confirm to me by PM that the map structure will be left unchanged in FTG, at least in its first versions. So sadly the idgrid limit will still be there.

Sorry I was just waiting for Yoda to confirm it.

Anyway I must have misunderstood this:

http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showpost.php?p=10079323&postcount=21

In that case we can forget about adding provinces in Europe. Only nations then.

Well, I was waiting too but then seeing that he had somehow missed my post, I PMed him as I wouldn't have you waste your time on WATKABAOI when there is still some work to do on the Old World Map, like resources. ;)

WATKABAOI is never a waste of time! :D

Granted, I've merely had the fun while doing none of the work...

Re. idgrid limit, so there's no possibility to split and give proper names to the rivers? That's the one thing that annoys me.

That and the remaining PTI. I don't know if it would be possible to unite some harsh provinces like the Sahara, the Northern tundra, the Himalayas, the Amazon to spare ids for the remaining PTI and rivers perhaps. I was planning to make these provinces non-traversable except by a conquistador so it doesn't matter if they're composed of 5 provinces or just 1.

What I'm saying is making the remaining PTIs and some regions that are not currently PTI (like the Sahara and the Amazon) composed of just one province. The PTI in Arabia and Russia is annoying especially when you're playing TUR or RUS.

Oh no, i would be against this. Removing provinces just for having river names? Thats not worth it. When working again on the map (i think with post #1981, it's obsolete, right?), Ormuz and the neighboring island should be merged. Ormuz is much too small to click on it.

You can click Ormuz Island easily in diplomatic map, and make all actions you wish.

I have sent the files for my update some times ago to cool-toxic. Now i'm doing a bit research for KaReis Mod and then, i will work on another update for WATKABAOI.

Right now, i have plans for some additional revolters and events that show the changes within the Electoral Collage of the HRE.

I think with 1000 available tags, we can use some for ahistorical countries in case some wants to play with them. Sometimes i like in my games a strong Hansa in.

What revolters and countries did you miss and that should be in? I think there are a lot in the Americas and Afrika. Let us made a list...

We also can now have trade companies for colonization purposes:
British East India Company (EIC; 1600-1858)
Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie (VOC; 1602-1798)
Geoctroyeerde West-Indische Compagnie (WIC; 1621-1791)
Russian-American Company (RAC; 1799-1882)
Hudson Bay Company

Effect: Faster colonization of the world -> harder for the player to colonize -> bigger Ai empires when annexing the companies

What else ???

All new countries are pagens except for:

The Americas

(some tribes still missing on the map...)

Coloured names in North America are cultures that are shared by several tribes.

On Aleuts&Kodiak: Unangan (=Inuit culture)
In Kamchatka+Koryakia+Yukaghir: Yupik (=Inuit culture)

Archipelago comes to the list. :)

East Asia 1419 (again plenty states from MyMap)

I don't know enough about asian history to judge if that setting would also fit for the 1337 scenario but Indonesia and Japan are pretty cool in this setting.
