Poland's colony names

I suggest to remove this name, because it have no sense:

POL;Orla Bielego;North America

And also:

POL;Nowa Polska;Any

because this name is name of region, like Louisiana, rather than name of town.

I also propose gramatical corrections of two names:

POL;Noway Gdansk;Any
POL;Noway Kraków;Any

And last but not least, some new colony names:

POL;Morska Wola;Any
POL;Wiśniowice;Any
POL;Marysin;Any
POL;Nowy Zamość;Any
POL;Janów;Any
POL;Orlicz-Dreszer;Any
POL;Kazimierce;Any
POL;Zygmuntów;Any
POL;Nowy Lubomierz;Any
POL;Fort Radziwiłł;Any
POL;Anin;Any

What about alternative royal elections past 1572? There was a couple of ocasions when Polish nobles elected two kings at a time, including even small-scale civil wars (like the one in 1588, when Jan Zamoyski defeated Maximillian Habsurg and his supporters at Byczyna). Not to mention a number of monarchs that could have been elected alternatively.

For example, here are possible choices for 1573 election (excluding the OTL Henri de Valois/Henryk I Walezy):
Code:
historicalmonarch = {
	id = { type = 6 id = 0109542 } # Was mentioned as first free ID
	startdate = {
		day = 11 #or 15
		month = may
		year = 1573
	}
	deathdate = {
		day = 20
		month = february
		year = 1595
	}
	name = "Ernest Habsburg"
	DIP = 5
	ADM = 7
	MIL = 3
	dormant = yes
	remark = "Son of emperor Maximillian II"
}

historicalmonarch = {
	id = { type = 6 id = 0109543 }
	startdate = {
		day = 11 #or 15
		month = may
		year = 1573
	}
	deathdate = {
		day = 17
		month = november
		year = 1592
	}
	name = "Jan II Waza"
	DIP = 6
	ADM = 6
	MIL = 6
	dormant = yes
	remark = "Also Johan III Vasa; ID 0131515"
}

historicalmonarch = {
	id = { type = 6 id = 0109544 }
	startdate = {
		day = 11 #or 15
		month = may
		year = 1573
	}
	deathdate = {
		day = 18
		month = march
		year = 1584
	}
	name = "Iwan Rurykowicz"
	DIP = 3
	ADM = 4
	MIL = 8
	dormant = yes
	remark = "Also Ivan IV of Russia; ID 0117006"
}

As for the justification; Ernst was preferred by a group of catholic nobles and was proposed as a candidate twice (the second time was 1587, after Stephen Bathory's death). His election would improve relationship with the Habsburgs, but may reduce stability due to protestant dissent. Also, I don't think a counter-reform Habsburg would be keen on signing any religious tolerance treaties. Election after his death may be very interesting; even though I think it would be impossible for the Habsburgs to copy Czech or Hungarian scenario here, a small civil war may be caused.

Johan was a husband of Catherine Jagiellon, daughter of Zygmunt I (so he was brother-in-law for Zygmunt II, the last of the Jagiellons). Plus, he was the father of Zygmunt Vasa, who OTL was elected king of Poland in 1587. Zygmunt may be his natural successor, and perhaps a hereditary Vasa dynasty may be established, should Zygmunt and his sons (Władysław IV and Jan Kazimierz) hold the throne. Perhaps an event should fire, deciding if the new monarch wants to rule from Poland or Sweden?

Ivan was the least possible candidate, but still he was supported by a number of Orthodox Ruthenian nobles. His election would cause huge dissent among the nobles (especially the Catholics), bring Poland into vassalage (he would surely rule form Moscow) and cause secession of disputed provinces. Of course, Ivan dies in 1584 and the infighting in Russia begins...

Just as in history - a new election should be held :) The problem is that gameplay may become very complex with new monarchs and I'm not sure if I can handle that... IIRC, there are some events that can be applied (like the Henrykian Articles and Pacta Conventa) and some that wouldn't fit (without Bathory, his reforms would be impossible of course).

I'm currently working on events for Interregnum so I can't promise anything. Still, if someone gets inspired, feel free to do whatever you want :)

I have created a few event chains for Poland-Lithuania that have required me to create/import alternative monarchs.

Rather then making an event (set) for every election, I went for "major" elections that created dynasties. Like the successor to Jan Sobieski event.

ex:
If Zygmunt III Waza is elected/stays in power, then the rest of the Polish Wazas appear as normal. Similar set up with my fictional Zamoyski line (Jan and son as regents, replacing some Wazas) and the Radziwills (imported from Lithuania, my default "other" main line. Used in coupe events).

Some new events for the XV century Poland. I hope, it would be useful.
Sorry for bad English;)

Interesting ideas, however I would like to make some comments:

(1) the Vlachs (aka Walachs, Wolochs, Blakhoi) were not a tribe of Slavs. The name was given to the remnants of the romanized population of ancient Dacia and Thrace by the Goths (it has the same root as the word Welsh), and it kinda stuck.
Since Moldova was a Vlach principality, one would believe the Vlachs were already there...
(2) I like the historical flavour your events give, however, you might want to think of ahistorical alternatives for your events (what if...?s). Maybe a Godfearing Polish King might accept the Pope's control over Warmia?
(3) I gather that the Barbican of Kracow was built after Jan Olbracht's defeat in the battle of the Cosmin Forest, against Stephen the Great's Moldova. In that case, the adjective should be 'Moldavian' not 'Wallachian,' as Wallachia was a different principality with no connection with the Polish - Moldavian war over the lands of Pocutia (Pokucie).

I'm sorry but there is not much sense in that event. With Casimir on Polish throne, Poland and Lithuania become more connected, not less. That's the opposite of what you're proposing. Besides, breaking vassalization of Lithuania is an important balance chocie.

Fully agree. There are events in AGCEEP making Lithuania Polish vassal (simulating personal union) with the coronation of Casimir in Lithuania... so there is no point at all to break it all of a sadden.

Sorry. My mistake;)

Vassalization means that The Grand Duchy was subordinated to Poland, and this is not true, especially during the reign of Casimir. Yes, maybe he wanted to unite both countries, but on the principle of equality. I think that the alliance, or a royal marriage fits here better than vassalization.

Well, I thoght that it was a principle in AGCEEP to simulate personal unions with vassalisations? Or am I wrong??

In the EUII, that means very good chance that soon you will have Casimir of Lithuania fighting Casimir or Poland (this offen happen with England and Scotland for example, which lack the vassalization events). The current setup worked well for a long time so I see no reason to change it.
To say nothing that you break the vassalization the moment the personal union is instituted (there was none 1430's-1440's period were Lithuania is already a Polish vassal).

This event will happen even if the Ottomans have been annihilated by someone. How could they be the threat that forces refugees to move north when they don´t rule the Balkan? The event should at least check that TUR exists - better check that TUR owns their historical borders on the Balkan. Alternative: Check that TUR is a neighbour of POL.

The event will happen even if POLand does not own or does not control province 297 and 298. The events trigger should check that POL owns and controls those provinces so that the refugees can move in.

I guess you mean "mainly" where you use manily?

Mainly to Hungary sounds right but "mainly to Czech"?
Better change that to "to Hungary, Bohemia, Moldavia and sometims to Poland". So that the country is used where they move to and not the nationality.

Very true. EUII lacks a way to perfectly simulate such personal dynastic unions. Using vassalization to simulate them is the lesser of two evils, especially in case of states who have permanent casus belli on each other and rivaling territorial claims.
Vassalization is a way to stop historically impossible things happening - like Casimir fighting himself.

Some new events for XVI century Poland. I'm looking forward to your comments and suggestions.

Some new events for XVI century Poland. I'm looking forward to your comments and suggestions.

Please dont use QUOTE and /quote to mark the events you post but CODE and /CODE. Because if you use quote and I answer to your post the events can´t be quoted.

The first event sounds not like a revolt, but like a religiousrevolt to me with mass, churches and lutherans. I suggest to change at least one of the revolt commands to a religious revolt:
