Woo, can't wait! Interesting change to Propagate Religion. I would assume that this new change tends to only factor into multiplayer, for the most part.

Exploration ideas now has -100% expel minorities cost, which makes it free...?
Free aside from the loss in development, it seems, which means it's probably still too expensive to use.

Is it possible to continue my Mewar achievement run? Or should I roll back to 1.29 to complete it?

Roll back. You can never continue Ironman (without losing the ironman status that is) when an update comes along (not hotfix).

So the innovative-quality policy has been nerfed (5% infantry combat ability) and the espionage-aristocrative policy has also been nerfed (albeit to only 10% not 5).

Defensive ideas also start with 100% army tradition from battles, not 1% army tradition, and Quality ideas now has 0.5% army tradition instead of 1%.

Exploration ideas now has -100% expel minorities cost, which makes it free...?

Also Confucian countries now take a stability hit everytime they declare war, nerfing an already awful religion. Hmmm.

Yeah they said that they wanted to nerf AT because it was "too easy to stay at high Army Tradition" because, you know, God forbid that when you focus on having high AT you can actually keep it reasonably high.

Confucians don't lose stab when Declaring wars. Just tested it with Ming. They start out with CBs on three different nations.

Then it's a Korea exclusive thing then, not a Confucian exclusive thing. Guess they didn't feel like Korea was nerfed hard enough last patch.

Overall I'm pretty enthusiastic about Emperor. So many things to do!

I will raise just two bad points:
- UI scaling.
- German, Italian, French and divine generic ideas are still a thing for some nations.

I hope patch 1.30.2 can fix Two Sicilies' incorrect flag & 'earthworm in formaldehyde' grey map colour!

I add also (and I know that from a gameplay perspective is not a priority): remember to to put Two Sicilies instead of Naples from 1816 and going on. Even if in the very end, this formable existed in the game timeframe, so why not use it?

EDIT: So now it seems that regular Sicily now have a new flag with trinacria and two sicilies instead have the old sicilian flag, I'm not sure this is a good choiche historically. Because the flag they are using for two sicily is well know as flag for sicily, and instead, the bourboun flag, that fantastic mess of heraldry, is the well know flag of two sicilies and the only one used within the game timeframe... as much as i love Trinacria as symbol this doesn't feel right enough. (The Trinacria flag would be cool as revolutionary flag to be honest).

The Fact is that "Two Sicilies" is not an anews re-enstablished extention of medieval kingdom of Sicily on the continent, is a modern creation born from the Enlightened dispotism of the Borboun dinasty. Infact is to consider that you should not be able to form it if Revolutionary in my opinion (this could be said also about other formable centered about enlightened dispotism).

It can be revoked at Day 1 of game. Isn't it meaningless privilege?

Worse. It is a trap to those that don't know it exists or how to deal with it. It is also obviously a giant bandaid to the "issue" of Korea expanding into Manchuria (God forbid a EU IV Nations wanting to expand).

I agree with you, why not start with a 5 year truce with Jianzhou then, because I doubt Korea would attack Ming or a japanese daimyo, it would be probably a bit unhistorical (maybe?), but still understandable gameplay-wise.

Korea already does start with a 6 year truce with Jianzhou for 'balance' reasons. (I.E. Who cares about history, we just want Korea to stop using mil tech 4 as an advantage)

Korea didn't even need a further nerf; I don't think I've ever seen a single game post-1.29 where Korea even survived, nevermind expand into Manchuria. The peninsula is usually fully occupied by Japan or one of the Manchu tribes by the 1600s.
