Fair warning: This week no real news from me so you can just skip this and come back on Thursday to find out what we really have been up to 
I can't believe it! In two days we celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Cities: Skylines! Therefore this week we have been wondering which cake to order to the office for Thursday (I say ALL of them!) and planning a big party for the spring. We actually didn't have a proper launch party for Cities: Skylines so now it's on - Food, drinks, my favourite Finnish band... And we will give one of you an opportunity to join us! The winner of Praise the Chirper -contest will be invited to join the celebration with the team on April 29th. Oh, and you can bring a friend with you if you want. So check out the terms for details and send over your best praise of the Chiper <3
Organizing a big party is actually a lot of work, so I have mostly delegated it to co_emmi. She has worked for Colossal Order in different positions for over five years and now that she is close to graduating we asked her to join the team full time as Communications Manager. She is responsible for Colossal's social media channels on Facebook and Twitter and will also be taking a bigger role here on the forums to making sure your voices are heard. Also for me one of the best things is that she handles the media requests and bunch of other emails so I get to spend more time reading Redd.. I mean working on important CEO level tasks. So I hope you welcome her here
And as promised I have created a thread for the Modding related questions that will be open until 10am EET (UTC+2) on Monday the 14th of March. The team will be looking into the questions next week and co_emmi will get back to you with as many answers as she has time to extract from them.
I better get back to ordering the cakes and next time we'll have a bit more substance in the word of the week
