Any reasons why land value isn't affected by how central and well-connected a plot of land is? Seems like an easy thing to implement that would make the game more realistic.
Although a city center does not inherently have higher Land value, it is increased by how well-connected your downtown is to your city. Since many services are based on road distance, a good city center will be easier to service, thus leading to increased land value. This is typical of a realistic city center, as being downtown doesn't always mean the land is valuable.
