Too many goofs to tell...

...playing Germany, forgetting to raise relations with Italy, who joins the Allies right before I'd DoW the USSR...

...playing Italy, leaving my brand new Carrier Task Force consisting of eight CV-5 sailing along the coasts of the New World, with the fleet-bombarded setting off, losing seven of my CVs and numerous escorts&cruisers to US naval bombers...

...as Germany again, during Sealion, making a second unload in Scotland, behind the enemy lines, forgetting to launch an assault on the front lines, allowing thus the English to destroy my precious three marines divisions...

...as the USA, not building a single division before the outbreak of war, and Japan could invade Seattle with over twenty divisions while I still had only three (but before the end of the week I could deploy six new INF '41 divs)...

...as Germany, forgetting to garrison Denmark upon receiving it, allowing the early-warring USA to invade there while I was busy Barbarossing...

...and on, and on.

During my first game as germany I attacked Poland but left the French bourder completely undefended. How was I to know they would attack.

1)My first play:as Afghanistan I tried to conquer the British Empire in India!

2)As Italy I conquered Egypt....but I could use that troops to conquer Suez (because Turkey was annexed)

Here recently in HSR had another goof (don't make them offen, other then overly complicated plans with fail anyway). I only sent 6 divs to conuqer Norway. Got driven off in two months after almost making it to Trodhime (or however you spell it).

Atleast Finalnd is getting them now that they are Axis.

I did the opposite. I decided to attack France first in '37, and the Poles declared war.

Another time as Germany in CORE 1 I had all my armies in North America and the South Pacific (Australia and New Zealand) and the Soviet Union betrayed me in '43. I figured they wouldn't after '41 passed, so I kept my troops abroad....

In one of my first games as germany i blitzed through europe, focusing my rather small army on one country at the time, then suddenly SU DOWs me, they take Berlin pretty fast and i lose.
Another time, I was playing as Japan, and i had conquered all my neighbours, EXCEPT the US, which i decided to leave be, of course they backstabbed me while the glorious japanese army was busy in africa.
My worst one however, was the time, when i suffered a pearl harbour as japan. I had gathered my entire transport fleet(and lots of other ships) at the harbour of some island(i was thinking of making lots of simultaneous landings at american territory). Then suddenly, the US declares war and bombs my transports to pieces before i remember to move them to a safer place, i was too shocked by the war declaration to do anything for a couple of minutes

Another one from the save (DD) game: It's the first time I'm building escortfighter brigades. I start thinking what to attack the to. TAC? No, they don't need them as they will have fighter cover anyways and it would decrease their range... CAS? Let's try... No, they don't fit to CAS, damn! Now I got it! NAVs need protection! So start producing 1x8 I ESC. Soon the first one is finished and I put it on my NAV. Great! That's perfect! But wait... I somehow hadn't realised that YES, they do also decrease the range of my NAVs... I ended up just disbanding the ESC and stopping their production.

I played my first game (and also first goof) as Finland. When in 1937 i attacked SU thinking that i would won. I had 10 divisions, only a small navy, no commanders assigned to lead my men (i learned that in my third game). SU had hundreds of divs. and they kicked my aZZ to hell in two months lol.

nowdays i can kill SU with no problem.

This is a tough one. Too many goofs to remember. Playing Romainia, annexing Bulgaria, Hungary, Chekoslavakia, Austria, all before 38. Then declaring war on Poland and having the Allies DOW me. Took all of Poland, pushed back the French invasion of Danzig, and then sat as a huge buffer between Germany and SU. Life got boring after that.

Not realy, as you don't have a chance to go wrong, you are immediatly wrong
So I guess that would count for Liberia as well?

I think my biggest goof was when I played Germany. I invaded Poland, but didn't pay attention to the French front, so within no-time Munich was in French hands.

Then, whilst trying to fend off the French, a couple of New Zealand divisions landed in Rostock  and marched into the undefend Berlin.

In a non-DD game as Soviet Union, the Finnish war spills over to the whole of Scandinavia and, somehow (post-Ribentropp-Molotov), I end up splitting the Great North between Germany and me. I then proceed to conquer a good deal of the globe: China, Japan, Turkey, the Mediterranean, Africa.

No Barbarossa, I then start to strat-deploy my broder troops to other, much needed areas. Actually, Germany attacked in October 47 -- two months before endgame. I had a hard time keeping them away from my main industrial centers...
