Man this one was hard to decide on...regardless I cast my ballot for SFIO

Remember to put your party name in bold so it's easy for Tommy to count everything.

15 years earlier, but why not? It has my full support

At this point I don't think we're ready for Popular Frontism. At this stage Comintern parties are still in full 'REVOLUTION!!!' mode so the moderate left (both left liberals like the Radicals and social democrats like the SFIO) would not want to ally with them and the PCF wouldn't want to ally itself with bourgeios parties either. However, I reckon than in the preriod between the point where the Comintern realising the revolutionary wave is over (this might happen a bit later since the Rev has been slightly more successful in this TL) and before the Comintern 3rd period if we have it (that was the policy of social fascism that played a big role in dividing the workers movement and allowing the Nazis to rise to power) that PCF - SFIO (although not alongside the Radicals) coalitions could become possible as sort of united workers' governments. Anyway, poll time.

Total Vote: 26

PCF: 8
SFIO: 5
Radicals: 5
PRD: 4
AF: 4

Obscenly close with all the parties having decent and roughly equal representation (expect the PCF which is a bit bigger than the others). Will be very interested in seeing the votes continue to come in, will have to start looking at potential coalitions soon.

The current vote distribution looks like the left wing democratic parties will either have to form a coalition with the PCF against the right, or with the PRD to exclude the communists. Either way, it seems unlikely that the AF will get into government. Vote for the AF!

For the moment, the most logical goverment should be an SFIO-Radicals coalition. To counter both PRD and PCF.
If this coalition break, SFIO could make a governement with PCF except if they face a (very unlikely) Radical-PRD-AF anti-communist coalition.

This election is incredibly exciting

A SFIO-Radical coalition haven't the majority but have a winning minority

PCF: 8
SFIO: 5
Radicals: 6
PRD: 4
AF: 5

So they have more seats (5+6=11) than the commies (8) and the right (4+5=9)
But it's freaking tight :eek:hmy:!

Question to all: Do you think SFIO is willing to form a governement with the PCF?

Come on comrades! The PCF can win this! The Proletariat shall rise above the Imperialists and the Radicals, the Socialists and the Republicans!
