Part 32: SHUT UP GERMANY!!!

The North German Federation took another half a year to defeat, resulting in Lysandra releasing Anhalt in the west and a new Poland in the southeast, thereby denying the russian emperor the title King of Poland since they swept in and conquered it while the Byzantines were away wrestling with China. Scandinavia however continues the war, perhaps to punish the germans further for invading their territory but the Empire and its minions that now also includes Persia exits the war. In the closing days of the war, a new class of ship was invented in Constantinople, the Cruiser class, the metal evolution of the old Man-o-war wooden warship however less armed. Lysandra was invited down to the harbour and when she had inspected the ship, she said to grand amiral Aegidius Silenos: "Euge, tenui praesidio navibus navium magnum esse arbitror ceterum si levius gravius ​​navibus armati ad urbem tuendos esse poterit (Well, it is a fine ship and I think it will be a great escort ship but I would feel better if it were more heavily armed to really be able to protect our capital ships)" and Aegidius said: "Sed id cogitatione debemus tardius quam urbem ferme nauium non posse tueri valet (We thought about that but then it would be almost as slow as the capital ships and wouldn't be able to protect them as effectively)" Lysandra understood and returned to the palace. Part 33: So you want to invade Burma eh? Alright Im coming, Im coming...

Just 10 months after its creation, the Byzantine minion Yunnan launches an invasion of Burma and asks for Byzantine aid. Lysandra responds with these words to the request: "Sic vos volo ad invadendam Burma aegritudo attinet? Licuit venio enim ego, Im 'venientem (So you want to invade Burma eh? Alright Im coming, Im coming.)" Lysandra prepares to send some forces from the red sea to invade and also calls on Guangxi and the Philipines to invade along with her, she won´t bother the rest of the world with such a local war. At the same time, Byzantine scientists are up to something but they won´t reveal anything...

Part 34: Defeat of Burma, invention and colonial expansion

Burma took 2.5 months to bring down, partly because the Burmese government never thought that they would ever face invasion sitting back to back with British India and therefore kept only a small army and partly because Yunnan had sent in everything it had at the Burmese right away, catching the Burmese outnumbered and outmanuvered directly at the capital. The Byzantines barely had enough time to secure the Burmese coast before the country surrendered and Yunnan annexed the northern part of Burma. The Byzantines keep the coast and the war is over. Back in Constantinople, Byzantine scientist invents the electric light and demonstrate to Lysandra. Lysandra, not quite impressed by the discovery said: "Bene magna! Suspendisse librum legere possum quin media nocte lucernis artem. Quaeso, me scire, cum tu confingere aliquid quod iuvat gentem nostram in sua externae res ... (Well great! Now I can stay up half the night reading a book without having to switch candles. Please, let me know when you invent something that actually helps our nation in its foreign affairs...)" She returns to the palace, now 22 years old, she is beginning to feel a lust... of a sexual nature...

Part 35: It is time to disunite the United States of Central America

During the following year after the defeat of Burma, Lysandra´s mind began to cloud more and more with the need of sexual arousal and when it reached its height in early December, she decided to reintroduce Roman clothing, Egyptian where it is hotter than 35 degrees Celsius more than half the year. She does this because these clothes are lighter, more comfortable and when they become standard, it would automatically become standard with see-through and that is just what she needs to become the female that attracts hordes of men from all over the Eastern Empire. This introduce of clothing is welcomed especially among the so called "immoral generation" that basically consist of teens and the less moral 20-30 year olds. Following the successful introduce and filled with new adrenalin, Lysandra notices the need for a stronger Byzantine hold on the west indies and decides to "Civitatum Foederatarum Americae Centralis dejugo tempus! (It is time to disunite the United States of Central America!)" and launches an invasion of the UCA. The UCA, beeing the combined power of Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica will provide a challenge for the Byzantine colonial forces in the Yucatan but the USA has promised to send in reinforcements and Prussia has also promised to send in troops. The UCA:s closest ally, Ecuador, joins the war but sitting on the other side of Colombia and they refusing Ecuadorian troops to pass and with an underdeveloped navy, they can´t do much but to defend themselves against the invaders...

Part 36: Fall of the UCA and the invasion of Yemen

After 11 months of war, the UCA had been broken beyond repair and the union surrendered. Lysandra divides the territories and releases Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua as minions and annex Costa Rica for the Empire. The Prussian King, William Armin, diverted his troops in the UCA in the middle of the war to attack an easy target, Ecuador. He managed, with the help of some American troops sent to hold Ecuador within its borders, to occupy and succesfully capture the central and eastern part of the country, making it the first Byzantine minion to start a colonial empire since Portugal already have colonies. The UCA though managed to survive around its capital but knows that any hostile action against its neighboors will result in a Byzantine siege. During the war, a second communist rebelion has started in Mexico but the empire has recovered from the Romano-American-Mexican war and managed to beat down the communists in the last rebelion but anything is possible...
Just one month after the close of the UCA-war, Lysandra orders a liberation of Yemen from the Facists and Ethiopia are sending in their army across the strait of Mandab and Lysandra orders the Byzantine Red Sea Fleet to secure the starit before the Ethiopians cross...

Part 37: Empire 1, Fascists 0

It took almost a year to bring down the Yemeni Facists and execute the major leaders. Lysandra established the Mandab Military Station on the African side of the strait, allowing the Ethiopians to safely cross the strait and bring a quicker end to the war. Lysandra restores the monarchy in Yemen but turns the country into the first satelite or vassal of the Empire, partly to ensure no more Facist rebelion but also to divert more of the lucrative Arabian trade into the imperial tresury. During the war, democracy was introduced in France but 3 months later, a new rebelion rose, this time engineered by the Communists. When the news reached Lysandra, she exclaimed: "Primus erat fascists, tunc jacobins et nunc communists. Non sum vincere Franciae tamen certissimum est, ad multum fun vigilo is pugnatorum se! (First it was the fascists, then the jacobins and now the communists. I am not going to conquer France yet, it is to much fun watching it fighting itself!)" Also, 1 month after the defeat of Yemen, the first election in France took place and sadly the Fascists seized power again but without an army and with only low garrisons in its cities, France will likely fall to the communists...

Part 38: First Indian incursion

2 months after the subjugation of Yemen, Lysandra orders a Byzantine incursion into the British dominated subcontinent of India and she has thought out a plan to prepare the Empire for the ultimate showdown between the British and Byzantium, she calls it the "Adeptus Imperio Britannico (Doom of the British Empire)". It consists of 10 points that all must be fullfilled before the declaration of war and they are:

• 1. Invade the remaining free nations of the indian region to prevent futher British expansion
• 2. Invade China and southeast asia to surround the British forces in the indian region
• 3. Conquer or enslave Transvaal, Zulu and Oranje to surround the British colony in southern Africa
• 4. Maintain the alliance with the United States of America and let them deal with the forces in British Canada when war is declared
• 5. Ally or enslave the Dutch Empire and let them deal with British Australia when war is declared
• 6. Ally with the Russian Empire to ensure the British are without strong allies when war is declared
• 7. Create a strong enough fleet to succesfully blockade the islands of Britannia and Hibernia (Ireland) to cut of the British government from its colonies and prevent reinforcements from arriving to the islands
• 8. Exploit the border-regions to the maximum and create strong invading forces
• 9. Try and turn British allies against the Empire to weaken it further
• 10. Conquer, enslave or ally with the Spanish for additional support worldwide

The Byzantine Empire is already underway on points 4, 5, 8, 9 and now 1 with the invasion of Kalat, Makran and Kutch however, Nejd honours its alliance with Kalat and joins the war. Nejd might seem powerful to the naked eye but the Byzantines know that it is only a barren wasteland with a small army defending its capital. At the same time, a small Commumist rebelion has risen in Ukraine but the Ukrainian amry outnumber the rebels more than 3 to 1...

Part 39: Rebelion, Conquest and the return of Bonaparte

Nejd and the invaded countries took 11 months to all bring down, resulting in the annexation of the indians and Armenia conquering the northern part of Nejd. Armenia follows in Prussia´s footsteps and creats a colonial empire for itself, however, Armenia remains fiercly loyal to the Empire. During the war, the first Fascist rebelion broke out in the Empire, though on a very small scale. The largest rebel army rose in central Gaul, near the French border. At first, the troops there were taken by surprise but they managed to quickly overpower the Fascist. Minor rebelions also rose in Hispania and Numidia but the rebelions were quickly destroyed thanks to the Scandinavians and Hungarians, they have fielded armies that are allowed to patrol the Empire and deal with emergencies if the Byzantines can´t reach them in time. Something that is strange is that along with the Communists, Facists have rebeled again in France dispite that they control the nation. It might have something to do with that the leader of the rebelion is no less then a Bonaparte, Felicien Bonaparte.

When the new borders of Byzantine India reached Lysandra, she exclaimed: Didn´t I tell you to invade Sindh aswell?! When I sneezed?! Go and crush them already!!! Sindh was invaded the next day and so far no serious resistance have been encountered...

Part 40: The Asian Mess War

Sindh didn´t stand a chance against the two legions sent in to conquer the country, barely 20 000 men strong in total yet the asian nations are so backwards, they have barely aquired musketeers and artillery. After the Empire´s many wars, Lysandra orders all troops to stand down and declares that there will now be peace for a time. Though not for long it would turn out. 2 months after the annexation of Sindh, the British Empire launches a second invasion of China and Lysandra, knowing that she must have a strong foothold in China to be able to beat the British in World War 2 that she knows is drawing near, declares war aswell. This time Lysandra will lead the war herself so that she can make sure that the result will be satisfying to her demands. She now prepares to march into Persia with a great many armies and rendezvous with the Byzantine Red Sea and Persian Gulf fleets to transport the forces to the Chinese coast, knowing that again, the British forces will be occupied with the bulk of the Chinese armies at the inland borders, making the coast vulnerable. Besides China, Lysandra launches two more "Contain the British Empire" wars and sends forces from Schytia to conquer Kokand with the indirect assistance and cooperation of Bukhara and forces from Byzantine India to take control of Panjab which has broken free from British influences and is considered "The last neutral part of India". Lysandra leaves the now 51 year old Claudios in Constantinople to avoid a lack of Imperial presence and a new revolt in the heart lands of the Empire. However Claudios is not as strong as he used to be but can still be a force to be reckoned with. With her she takes her younger sister, 22 year old Clementina that has impressed Lysandra in her success in hunting bandits and minor rebel armies in the Balkans and Asia Minor with her bodyguard and Lysandra has now decided to train her in large scale warfare. With this super-duo in training, even China will tremble at the name of BYZANTIUM...

a) it was a fun read in terms of seeing how a WC game could go from 1850 onward. I really do want to see your attack on england
b) you're completely cheating. You haven't had a research in any year in any screenshot. So stop lying. Honestly, we judge less harshly if you are upfront, than deceiving. So just say you have every research ever since the first year of the game. 20k industry in 1875 is also impossible, so that is also a cheat. It's fine, just be truthful. The truth will set you freeeeeeeeeee

It's fun from a mental masturbation standpoint. No army, no power will really kill you or pose a threat. It's more what will inconvenience you most. I usually withstand containment from england without cheating but it isn't sexy, it's boring. I do applaud the fact that you release nations, that's interesting and adds splintering to a unified world even if they are puppets.

Thank you for your honesty. Actually, I was only cheating in the beginning to not get killed, puppeted or influenced by any other nations and to get rid of the Ottomans reasonably quickly. When it comes to research, I have collected a lot of points so my research speed is now maybe 2 months tops, a consequense of cheating in the beginning. When it comes to my power, yes perhaps I am that powerful IN EUROPE, however in India the British will outclass me and I need USA to take care of the British forces in Canada, since I don´t have any strongholds there. There are also more British troops in South Africa than I have in the whole southern part of Africa.

Not to mention Australia and New Zealand...

Part 41: What a mess...

With the help of the British and rising star Clementina, Lysandra was able to smash through the underdeveloped Chinese armies with ease and carve out a major piece of China as a Byzantine province, Sinis (China). The British were unable to get very deep into the country due to the bulk of the Chinese army beeing at the border, slowing them down so they only annex Outer Mongolia. Exept carving out Sinis, Lysandra releases Xibei San Ma in the north west and further west, manages to annex both Panjab and Kokand, further the possibility of British expansion. What is left of China Lysandra will proabably invade in a near future and with the access to China, Lysandra has now huge boost in population and manpower and in the future, a huge number of large armies to invade India with...
