I fully endorse a purge against the anarcho-liberales in Argentina. Their kind must be stamped out so that the Chilean eagle can spread its wings over South America. History has shown time and time again that war is good for the economy, and with the exponential growth of our industrial center under this current administration it seems only right that we should throw even fuel on the burning fire of our economy.

It seems that we are in a very good position right now to further unite the entirety of South America under our Centralized government, but in order to create a pan-South American movement we must first take out opposition from Argentina.

Truly we must act not only to secure our position in South America but also to uplift our South American brothers who are subject to oppressive, corrupt faux-democracies. It is our duty to bring the to the Argentinians the peace which we know so well. It is time for us to bring to the Peruvians the economic prosperity too many of us take for granted. It is time to incorporate Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela into this cohesive state. We must even exert full control over the lands of Brazil, these lands which languish under the reigns of a backwards dictatorship. We as a nation now have the opportunity to unite South America under a centralized rule and the first step towards this state is a declaration of war on the Argentinian Germanistas.

I would also like to nominate Sr. Escovedo for a leadership position within the military during this glorious war. He must prove that he is loyal to Chile and what better way to test his honor than to have him fight for our glory and preservation on the battlefield?

I continue to hold myself above suspicion of this supposed coup. Riveras letters were the first I've heard of it and truthfully I have few qualms with a De Conti administration. I trust De Conti will honor my experience with the business world and appoint me the secretary of industry and commerce in his cabinet. I look forward to serving Chile in the next few years by your side Senor.

The big and mighty bourgeois dream of war and will undoubtedly just sit on their asses, count their money and laugh at the sons of workers and farmers who are sent to die on battlefields. I hope reason will win, and we don't send our soldiers to die just to make some rich people richer, and some insane people insaner.

Your calling it a 'bourgeois' war is foolish; I oppose this proposal, and I am by no means a socialista.

"I have heard many of your statements, Senor Salazar, and I call them foolish. There is no need to create a new layer in the bureaucratic morass that is our government. We already have an entire ministry dedicated to ensuring the upholding of the law. I am the minister for that ministry, and using my powers as Minister for the Interior, I declare Senor Escovedo innocent of any charges of treason or similar. I do this because it is clear that despite what he may say privately, he has publicly sworn to defend the Republic, and I know he will never break that oath.

"Furthermore, I back Senor Escovedo's bill. The Germanistas must be crushed before they are able to consolidate their hold on Argentina. We must destroy them for the sake of all in South America. I consider it a necessary step towards ensuring the stability and unity of both Chile and South America."

Severiano Miramontes
Minister for the Interior

I also throw my support behind Senor Escovedo's bill! To War by Jingo! These Germanistas will be defeated once and for all!

~ Senator Ernesto F. Fuentes

I support Senor Escovedo's bill as well. The Germanistas will be dealt with once and for all, and no longer will we have this threat looming on our border. To war!

- Gen. Sebastian Hidalgo

Chile does not need a war. A war which will crave the extinguishing of many Chilean lives. I simply do not understand the why of those in favour of such a pointless action as a war. It will do us no good and only serve to damage our economy and - most importantly - the loss of precious Chilean lives. As well, our nation has been devastated by the recent infighting. Funds must be devoted to the recovery of Chile rather than an imperialist war with Argentina.

Votede Conti for president and Ferrari for Chief of staff

I announce the end of my bid for Chief of Staff, and I urge those who can to instead vote for Colonel de Porto.

- Gen. Sebastian Hidalgo

I thank the honorable General Hidalgo for his support.

Stability in the 3rd Republic, above all else

-Colonel de Porto

"Gogolow, would you rather see those Germanistas entrench themselves in Argentina and use it as a base for their despicable actions?"

Severiano Miramontes

But what can they actually do? I am certain that they have occupied themselves with reconstructing war-torn Argentina, something which we should do with our own country. Furthermore, they are in absolutely no position to threaten Chile. They are of no threat, and I have not heard anything of a domestic Germánista movement in Chile for a very long time. I also do not see why Chile should make even more annexations of the lands of others, I doubt that the Argentinians would like Chile to lord over them instead of having their own government.

The right are afraid of ghosts and shadows. First they wanted a Communist threat, so they created one by harassing the Communists. Now they have found a new pet threat in the Germanistas. I have no love for the Argentinian Germanistas, but Argentina under whichever government is today weak and powerless. They can't threaten Chile, they can't threaten their other neighbors. The right wants a war because they hope to get richer, they want a war because they want to oppress the soldiers after the Schmidt rebellion, and they want a war because the only thing they have to offer is scaremongering. They invent threats and then say: "vote for the Bourgeois and we will save you". The biggest threat to Chile is a Reactionary coup, and that the right choose to ignore. The FNT have actually been the ones pushing for new legislation that will make coups by disappointed politicians and generals harder to pull of. We live in an unstable nation, but the threat is neither the Communists nor a foreign power. The threat is a certain greed and hunger for power within our political system, and the system itself has not been able to change. What we need is a change of the political culture of this country, we must change the conception that you can challenge a election result with guns. In this no political movement have been completely innocent. But making up false threats and chase shadows rather than dealing with the real problem is no solution.

The left are afraid of the so-called "Bourgeois". There is no such thing. The Proletariat, Bourgeois, all of these made-up terms to describe the seemingly devastatingly evil social classes of Chile. There is no threat of a Reactionary coup; this the left itself has invented to keep the right fighting with each other. You talk of false threats being no solution, and yet you blatantly do so against the right as the "coup" to overthrow Chile.

All classes of Chile must stand united. If they do not, our great country will fall. The socialistas and comunistas seek to divide the Chilean people and have them fight against each other for naught but their own gain. They accuse the bourgeoisie and those who believe in Chilean greatness of the very same thing they seek to accomplish!

Do not listen to the lies of the left! Chile must stand tall!

I agree completely. It would seem that the left is only interested in dividing the classes so that they can piggy-back into La Moneda under the guise of being defenders of the working man. In reality, the economy has never been better. This success has been achieved under a conservative Congreso, so the claims of the Comunistas are baseless and empty.

We must work together to unite Argentina with us. The leftists are right when they say Argentina is weak, but wrong when they say that the Germanists pose no threat. Why, it was Chilean Germanist forces that crossed the border and overtook the Argentinian capital when our neighbors least expected it! Who is to say that the same will not occur for us?

The only solution is to destroy the threat, and in the process we will unite our lands with those of Argentina!

Senator Alejandro Ruiz de Escovedo

"We can regain lost glory now! Strike at the Germanistas, destroy the anarchists for what they are. I must agree with Senor Saez...The left has continued to spread lies and discontent among the population, hindering the ability of each administration to properly govern. Something MUST be done about this!"

-Crown Prince Daniel Jesus Roseno

What gives you the right to declare if someone is innocent or not? Did you decide guerro's fate? Have any of the ministers lane decided the fate of traitors to the republic. No it was decided by the people! By the lawfully elected congresso! You don't even seem to care that your president has reason to believe this man is a traitor. How do you know if he will honor his oath! We don't know if he will honor his word. I will continue my campaign for justice I will not rest until the truth is uncovered!

I still can't see how any Argentinian government could ever pose a threat to us. No other South American nation have the power to even dream of defeating us. Chile is the Great Power of our Continent. Our soldiers just had to fight another Civil War. Give them a break. We have no need to invade a nation that pose no threat to us. Let the soldiers rest so they fight in full strength when we do meet a real threat, probably from inside our own nation considering the trends.

The Chilean Germanista movement is dead, what's left of it fled to Argentina. Neither the Argentinian nor the Chilean Germanistas can do anything to threaten our nation. Just another right wing illusion. What we should do instead of waging wars everywhere is finally give our soldiers and workers pensions. That should be the focus for the next administration.

You misjudge our valiant armies Senor. If you think our forces not up to the task of toppling the last great enemies of a forgotten era then I fear you should take another look at the numbers. By instilling order throughout South America we can begin to expand beyond our borders peacefully. Do you want glory and prestige for our nation? Or do you want our well armed young men to waste their time doing drills and sitting around?

As for pensions.... I am not necessarily against it. However I must stress that this must be but a pitiful sum and it should only be given to those injured while in battle and those who cannot physically work. We may be on opposite sides of the political spectrum but we can agree on this to a certain extent.
