I fully endorse a purge against the anarcho-liberales in Argentina. Their kind must be stamped out so that the Chilean eagle can spread its wings over South America. History has shown time and time again that war is good for the economy, and with the exponential growth of our industrial center under this current administration it seems only right that we should throw even fuel on the burning fire of our economy.
It seems that we are in a very good position right now to further unite the entirety of South America under our Centralized government, but in order to create a pan-South American movement we must first take out opposition from Argentina.
Truly we must act not only to secure our position in South America but also to uplift our South American brothers who are subject to oppressive, corrupt faux-democracies. It is our duty to bring the to the Argentinians the peace which we know so well. It is time for us to bring to the Peruvians the economic prosperity too many of us take for granted. It is time to incorporate Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela into this cohesive state. We must even exert full control over the lands of Brazil, these lands which languish under the reigns of a backwards dictatorship. We as a nation now have the opportunity to unite South America under a centralized rule and the first step towards this state is a declaration of war on the Argentinian Germanistas.
I would also like to nominate Sr. Escovedo for a leadership position within the military during this glorious war. He must prove that he is loyal to Chile and what better way to test his honor than to have him fight for our glory and preservation on the battlefield?
I continue to hold myself above suspicion of this supposed coup. Riveras letters were the first I've heard of it and truthfully I have few qualms with a De Conti administration. I trust De Conti will honor my experience with the business world and appoint me the secretary of industry and commerce in his cabinet. I look forward to serving Chile in the next few years by your side Senor.
