Hello to all and welcome to my AAR, following the story of Kaiser Wilhelm's German Empire in the years leading up to and during the Great War. Having recently watched the excellent BBC series "Fall of Eagles", about the fall of the German, Habsburg, and Russian monarchies, and as a fan of the Great War mod and alt-history, this seems like the perfect place to start. The main member of the Central Powers, in our real world, Germany came very close to winning the war, yet ultimately fell short, causing a chain reaction of events that eventually led to another horrific war in Europe a quarter of a century later. In this simulation, we will look to overturn the result of the war, upset the balance of power in Europe, and establish the Kaiserreich as a global power. If we fail to win the war, we'll try to deal with the aftermath, and see if we can avoid the rise of evil that eventually consumed Germany in the 1930s.
Game Rules
-Game updated to latest version as of March 2024 w/ Bolivar patch
-Historical AI (WW1 will kick off because of some damned thing in the Balkans)
-Will not necessarily follow the real-life application of the Schlieffen Plan, there were four different versions, including one with an "East First" approach, you'll have to wait and see how we do move
