I am playing Crusader Kings Complete (steam version) and still don't understand this thing.
Those religious laws. How are they fuctioning anyway? I mean the Investiture. I understand that in Crusader Kings 2 you can appoint the next bishop manually BUT in CK1 how it works? With Regal Supremacy 80% that a ruler can appoint a bishop but HOW? Does it simply takes a random courtier with ecclesiastical education from a court and appoints him as a bishop or archbishop when an old one dies?
