Chairman Mosley consulted with his French counterpart, but quite honestly by now everyone knew Britain was the new World Leader of the Worker's Movement, so it was more of a negotiation for a French save-face then anything else.
(I cheated myself into leader of the alliance)
The decision had been taken. German Worker's states would be set up. The Germans lack the syndicalist experience, that's true, but with the Habsburg menace now finished with their wars in the Balkans and a massive, experienced Army (of slaves) marching towards the old Reich border, time cannot be wasted. The British and the French will guide their German brothers and compensate for their weaknesses, but the German worker
must be armed!
Above we see how the local progressist organisations, well intentioned as they may be, have been infiltrated by people still defending failed solutions for the Revolution. Perhabs simply romantics, who knows maybe traitors. There is too much at stake for us to risk waiting and finding out.
In the Early days of 1941, the Unions with wich we have been working the longest achieve what they had always expressed as their desire, and the North German Federation is established, with capital in Hamburg.
About a week later, the Congress of Rhenish Unions declare their own Republic, with capital in Essen.
They are shortly followed by the Bavarians themselfs, despite hardly liberated, but not wanting to fall behind. Munich, one of the Keizer's last stand, is chosen to house their Congress.
Naturaly what some Germans had achieved could not be denied to others. With great support from the Union of Britain, less then a month after the Rhenish Republic and Bavaria declared their free Congress, Berlin became house for the Prussian Union's Congress!
Another week later, the entusiastic Masses of Denmark, with much support from their Norwegian brothers aswell as the UoB, followed suit.
For natural and understandable historic reasons, the French people, while rejoicing for their German brother's rise to Freedom, could feel a bit unconfortable with the whole situation. Thus, to diminish their possible tension, the Union accepts to share much of the influence over the closest to the border of the new German states.
(actualy I'm just hoping France will trade with them for what resources they need)
And what better way to finish this Month of Hope for the Workers of Europe and the World - as of Glory of those of Britain - then with the entry in service of a new Hammer Class Battleship? We wellcome the aptly named RNS Victory!
