having trouble finding good gameplay footage, but from what i have seen it seems to play sort of like if gratuitous space battles and frozen synapse had a big, seafaring baby. am i off the mark here?

I haven't played those games myself *ashamed*. But the people who have seem to say something like that.
I can't wait to play this game! The few video's out there look awesome. Looks like a simple fun game with a lot of variety of strategy. What time can I start playing tomorrow? I never have off on game release days but got lucky this week.
