FRANÇAIS!

I do not ignore some of you still suffer for our defeat against the German Nation. However, France must not forget his duty towards the rest of the World, and like a responsiblefather would do, our nation shall walk away from the easy path and fulfill our obligations. For this we must cooperate with our former enemies in order to show Europe the true face of the so called Internationale and bring once again joy and freedom to our beloved lands.

Therefore, we have decided to ratify the Treaty of Casablanca and begin an inmediate cooperation with the German Empire.

We thank the German Imperial government for their willingness to such a move, and can now announce that immediate measures will be taken against the Shangqing, who are unrighteously still occupying territory belonging to Qing China. Furthermore democratic reforms will start in the Qing Empire, reducing the amount of power our beloved Emperor had to take during the crisis of 1926. We are please to see that the Entente powers have started to open itself to the world again and to see that their course of action is very closely tied to the course of Mitteleuropa.

People of Bengal! The eyes of all of India and all peoples of the world are upon us! We have given so much blood that this land might be free of the tyrannical imperialist British regime, and success has never been closer. We have kicked the Englander out of Bengal, and he has taken his henchmen Maharajas with him. The last vestige of the decaying British Raj lies in Delhi, where millions of Indians are still under the yoke of foreign capitalist domination. Yet more Indian brothers and sisters suffer under the reign of the Princely Federation. I urge the people of the Commune to remember their history, remember the centuries of struggle against exploitation, and hold strong against those who would challenge our freedoms. To the Indian people held under the rule of Delhi or the Princely Federation, I say that the hearts and minds of the Bharitya Commune are with you--India is one nation, and we shall look after our own.

The Indian continent today stands divided between three powers. The rulers of Bengal would see whole villages burned and thousands slaughtered for the sake of short lived "equality" which is already being replaced by willing enslavement. The Princely Federation is no better, as they think that the people should have no say in their government, and that liberty and freedom are flawed institutions. And they both have something in common. They both refuse to compromise. Compromise in the basis of freedom, democracy, and peace. And so they will never have any such things.

So my subjects, with the Canadians behind us and the gods watching over us, we will drive the forces of Bengal and the Princely Federation to the ground! Then we shall bring democracy to the whole of India!

-Muhammed Shuja Al-Mulk
Prince of Deli

The recent statements by the Government of Delhi are highly alarming and libelous. Firstly, the statement that we are burning villages and slaughtering thousands is entirely baseless, and bears no resemblance to anything that could be called reality, not even to an opium addict. If anything Delhi, as the successor state to the British Raj, bears responsibility for centuries of oppression against the Indian people. Secondly, the statement that we refuse to compromise is laughable given that Delhi has made no requests of our government, nor have they made any contact with us on any matter. We could hardly refuse to compromise given said circumstances. If Delhi has tired of oppressing its people, we would be delighted to sit down with them and negotiate a settlement that prevents the spilling of yet more Indian blood. Unfortunately, given Delhi's current rhetoric and their declaration of war on facts, it seems that they would be delighted to lead India into Civil War.

The United States of America

The statements by the Combined Syndicates of America are deplorable and contrary to all fact. They are truly an attempt by a misguided segment of society to garner more attention to their cause. One which is clearly is clearly held by a minority this country as indicated by their early announcement of their presidential candidate. (OOC: Proper election season won't start until late summer or mid 3rd quarter and primaries don't start until February.)

However, more importantly they have attacked our nation. A nation founded on such principles as liberty, justice, democracy, freedom, and the pursuit of happiness. While it true people have the right to organize, any such organization that espouses an overthrow of government, as some of these groups do, is illegal. However, it is not a constitutional right to refuse work, though it is to organize (OOC: it falls under freedom organization/speech). However, when these strikes endanger public order and safety, they infringe upon the rights of others, and it is these actions that are rightfully demonized.

The argument that the government has done nothing to alleviate the plight of workers is factual inaccuracy. Though the past laissez-faire policy government inaction has done little to alleviate their predicament, several new programs are being introduced this year that will bring many jobs to these disaffected laborers. It is important that all workers receive a "square-deal" yet it is incorrect to assume that business should bankrupt itself in fulfilling the demands of its employees, as this would only result in greater levels of unemployment, to the detriment of all involved.

They question the signing of agreements to prevent the overthrow of elected government through violence. The results of such an violent overthrow of the Provisional France and resulting "reign of terror." Such actions cannot be condoned, as the run counter to our American belief of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Indeed, the American people are not blind, and with their belief in democracy will reject these fairly baseless arguments.

Franco-Indian Treaty of Cooperation

The Union of the Communes of France shall:
1. guarantee the independence and sovereignty of the Bharitya Commune.
2. endeavour to protect the sovereignty and independence of the Bharitya Commune from foreign aggression.
3. endeavour to send the Bharitya Commune advisors in the areas of industry and military.
4. endeavour to send the Bharitya Commune military hardware that is not needed for the French Defence Forces.

The announcement that National France is joining Mitteleuropa is surprising but welcomed. Syndicalism must be stamped out, and it provides a threat not only to the democracies and monarchies of Europe but for their own people as well.

Though not a member of Mitteleuropa, as we wish to stay neutral for the time being, the Austrian Empire sends its regards to the German Empire and the French Republic in its victory of putting the past behind them and looking towards a future of friendship and cooperation.

Treaty of Tunis

The French Republic feels very satisfied that the Austrian Kaiser Otto I has taken into account the danger that Syndicalism represents to all europeans who deserve to live in peace. Although our nation would like to see Austria as an allied country, we understand the importance of neutrality in such a problematic era, and so we extend our hand in a gesture of friendship to the Austrian emperor and citizens.

For that, we would like to propose the Treaty of Tunis, in an effort to unite neutral and concerned countries in a friendship pact with the French Republic. This Treaty would not oblige to any war duties, as it must not be considered as a military pact, but would help to reinforce our political views and our belief that every free society must be based upon the principles of work, family, and defense of the Motherland.

For that, we also invite the Russian Federation, the Italian federation and the Kingdom of Spain to ratify the Treaty of Tunis, and extend that invitation to any country that shares our credo.

Signed,

[X]P. Pétain, President of France
[] Otto I, Kaiser of Autria
[] HH Pius XII
[] Aleksandr Kerensky, President of the Russian Federation

Though neutrality must be stressed for Austria and its people, Syndicalism is a threat to every human on this planet.

Treaty of Tunis

[X] Otto I, Kaiser of Austria

Though our nation is not necessarily in a position to take immediate reinforced action against Syndicalism, we will likely be able to become a more involved and participatory nation following next year's Augsleich.

Tsar Boris III welcomes warmly the news that the French government-in-exile has decided to join Mitteleuropa, and put away it's differences with the German Empire, so both nations may work together to defeat the great evils of Syndicalism, Anarchism and Radicalism. The Tsar does hope such reconciliation becomes the mainstay of international diplomacy, for the threat of the socialist Internationale is ever present, and ever concerning.

The Tsar however is much more concerned and worried by the recent pacts and treaties of friendship between Germany and Greece. Greco-Bulgarian relations are rather cool due to the undue and completely baseless claims the Greek government maintains on Macedonia and Thrace, clearly Bulgarian provinces since the Weltkrieg. His Royal Highness would like to remind the German government of Bulgaria's firm commitment to the Central Powers during the war, and that it should not forsake the existing bonds between our countries by treating with governments with which the Tsar is decidely less pleased with. We would however appeal to the Kaiser to perhaps ask or press upon the Greek sovereign to promise not to press their claims to Bulgarian land, or indeed perhaps even ask them to drop them. Indeed, if the Greeks be so willing, the Tsar would gladly offer an agreement of non-aggression between our sovereign states, to prevent yet more conflict over our boundary disputes.

The government of Brazil applauds this stance by Austria, and stresses that the primary duty of any enlightened government is to protect their people from the ravages of syndicalism
